Riders leading by 2 points at end of half. Not as sharp as they were against Calgary and the Lions are making some good plays on both sides of the ball.

Kreskin, why doesn't Wally wear a head-set? Is he worried it will muss his hair? Or, he is not interested in what his coaching staff may have to say to him.
They haven't found a headset big enough for Wally's head.

We just managed to squeak out a win today........I am not impressed with much of what I saw out their on the field today. I credit the D, for the most part. The offense stunk. Zach had problems after he took a hit on the head but was kept in the game. An ugly win but I'll take the points. 24 - 21 the final

No TNF tonight but a weekend of epic rivalry and sold out venues. Ive got my beer chillin' and sausage fresh off the smoking rack from Ukr CO-OP ready.

Mow, your guy saying Hi is finding his roots in the CFL. He's going to have a great career. Hughes took him under his wing and that support can't be bought at any price other than giving a shit. Kudos!

Dirty Birds Vs Arby's...

Well so far the game - such as it is has given me time to catch up on my emails without missing anything of major importance. 6 - 1 for Als with just over 8 to go in the opening half. That pipsqueak for the Als has some kind of arm on him and pretty good legs too.

Go Dirty Birds!!!

21-11

Final

The Dirty Birds have a keeper in Pipkin aka pipsqueak, pete. The kid needs some accuracy training but he doesn't lack nerve nor guts and he has a phenomenal arm - he made Trevor Harris' efforts almost look weak. Really happy for the Montreal win - it is good for the East.

Johnny Pipkin!

The East is looking good this year.

Sunday we take out the Middle East!

The CBC seems to have taken a liking to our Riders, pete.

Well that's the ball game folks and what a way to end it .............Gainey intercepts Nicols with less than a minute to go in the game. Riders take the ball and run out the clock. 31 - 23 the final. I was pleasantly surprised to see the the offense score TDs for a change. Good game - bit of a nail biter at times but the best team won. Rock on Riders!

youtube not going embed here due to a couple of numbers creating a smilie face Lol

Favorite play of the game - Ed Gainey's pick off Nicols in the final seconds of the last quarter. Icing on our cake was the Esks losing to the Stamps the next day, TM...........for by virtue of their loss, we now sit in 2nd place in the West. Yee Haw!

I believe we have a good chance in the Banjo bowl to come out with a win, Winnipeg came at us with one of their best preparations I have seen this year from the offence and defense. We came out flat and didn't really show the Bombers anything new, IMO they will reinstall Johnson, Butler, Brooks and bring Bagg into the offence, they will be hungry for the rematch.

Esks came out hot in Calgary on defence may have a chance of coming out flat at home again IMO
