HAHAHAHA!!!! Cannuck tells us he would drive an electric toy car "TOMORROW if the range was better"! And there is the heart and soul of the LIE-beral dilemma- they desperately want the gravy they can skim off the electric toy car biz- but cannot figure out how to force us to accept their CRAP electric toy car deal!
There are SO MANY pesky obstacles to wide spread electric toy use- such as double cost compared to gas cars- even with MASSIVE LIE-beral subsidies; then add in crap range under ideal circumstances- that gets even worse once you are down close to freezing temperatures- and then start running lighrs and a heater- which means NO BATTERY currently being made- or even sitting in an experimental laboratory will hold a full/decent charge in Cdn winter; add in slow refueling times- with that not being helped as Ontari-owe LIE-berals screw up charging installations; then watch as people are shocked and repelled by video showing how easily lithium bursts into flames just as soon as it is exposed to air- like in a car crash!
WE have all seen gas cars leaking fluids after a crash and lithium appears to be even more flammable than gas since gas requires a source of ignition but lithium does NOT- contact with air is enough- and lithium fore requires equipment that is NOT currently available to Cdn fire depts!
Gosh- those electric cars sure sound like a BARGAIN dont they! Only a LIE-beral would offer up such a good deal to us with a straight face! But then LIE-beral Dalton McGinty offered us 10 percent off our car insurance- and later Wynne-bag offered us 15 percent off!
Too bad NONE of these LIE-berals mentioned ANYTHING about the FIFTY PERCENT DROP in medical benefits for crash victims!
ALL LIE-beral policy is collapsing in disgrace and all rthey offer us is more FAKE NEWS as a defense!
Big reason that there are so few EVs has more to do with groups like Tesla being unable to manufacture enough EVs that aren't riddled with many problems.
They should spend less time making announcements about new tractor trailers and new stylish offerings and more time trying to get their manufacturing capacity up and produce a car that works

You and so many others have Tesla vision. The biggest manufacturers of electric cars are the Chines and they and several dozen other auto makers are racing one another to set the industry standard. That is why so many nations are supporting electric car development. The winner will make billions.
Oh HAHAHAHAHA!!!! TESLA VISION the LIE-beral whines! THERE IS THE STANDARD LIE-BERAL HYPOCRISY!!!!
And how many CHINESE designed/made/built are in North America? Why NONE! Certainly car makers use assorted Chinese parts but full cars imported from Chinese makers- NO! Oh sure- you can buy an Chinese made electric scooter but Chinese electric cars are apparently reserved for their local consumers! Its all part of the Chinese manipulation of their currency!
By making electric cars for their local consumers and keeping out other makers they produce a captive market with a monopoly!
BY crushing their free market and giving citizens the the stark choice- buy OUR electric car or WALK- they ensure sales of their electric toy cars!
This of course is the discriminatory market rigging crap that is behind LIE-beral bribery in favour of electric car makers- with the added bonus that LIE-berals expect to make A LOT OF GRAVY from their giant electricity slush fund!
It is this deliberate LIE-beral effort to create a monopoly they expect to profit hugely from that is going to kill the electric car- voters simply cannot and will not pay for the full range of LIE-beral entitlements and insane greed!
WE are so deeply indebted there is no money to pay for electric toys!
LIE-beral apologists such as Bar Sinister can spout all the duplicitous propaganda he wants but the voters have decided that he and others like him are spewing fresh, ripe, organic, straight from the back of the Bull fertilizer!
Got a few questions for you, genius. How many Japanese cars were there in North America in 1960? How many Korean cars were there in North America in 1970? How many German cars were there in North America in 1950? People like you get blindsided because the blinkers you wear don't allow you to see the whole picture.

When Bank of Canada Governor Stephen Poloz recently announced a hike in interest rates — even though it was just a quarter of a point — too many people immediately went into a panic
Raising a bank’s benchmark lending rate by a quarter of a percentage point from the almost as-low-as-you-can-go 1%, should not have folks figuratively standing on the ledge and looking to jump.
But it did.
(This is a classic indicator of how tightly stretched is our grossly indebted society! LIE-berals have pushed us into previously un-imagined levels of debt! LIE-berals have INSISTED that our massive debt is manageable as long as interest rates stay low and the economy is stable- with LIE-berals deliberately screwing up NAFTA because they hate Yankees and with LIE-berals further breaking the bank by importing masses of illegals who will require COSTLY govt aid over a LONG TERM just to survive here!)
While low interest rates going back to 2010 have supported economic growth, they have also created a situation where people — especially Ontarians — are spending beyond their means and racking up debt hand-over-fist, all in the great hope that interest rates will forever remain low.
Ontario’s Financial Accountability Office (FAO) just released a report assessing the debt burden of our province’s households, and the financial vulnerability they are facing as interest rates begin to creep higher.
And it doesn’t look good.
Last year, says the FAO, the average Ontario household owed nearly $154,000, up $35,000 from 2010.
Of that, $103,000 was mortgage indebtedness.
But the days of cheap mortgage loans are coming to an end.
(This constant referral to mortgage debt avoids the fiscal reality- only about half of Cdns own their residence- the rest RENT- and are getting killed by rental costs that jump much faster than their frozen wages or the taxes they must pay! People who own property are relatively safe- for now- mortgage rates are not likely to increase nearly as fast as rents have done! And as we saw last summer-2017- in the Parkdale rent strike- those 11 buildings were owned by Alberta municipal employees- they price gouge us- with LIE-beral aid- on taxes and they price gouge us on rents and on electricity costs! Civil service union Hogs and their LIE-beral enablers are quite literally running a weird protection racket on us of the sort the Mafia would be jealous of!)
As a share to disposable income, total household debt reached a whopping $171% in 2016 — 21% higher than in 2010, and 8% higher than households in the rest of Canada.
We can blame the Wynne Liberals for a portion of this, of course, since they are driving people out of house and home with the tax costs associated with various billion-dollar boondoggles, their green energy experiment that lit a rocket under electricity rates, and their lust to put everything on the credit card.
Free pharmacare for young people and free college and university tuition, to cite just two recent Liberal boasts, are not “free.”
They cost each and every Ontario taxpayer a little more of their disposable income to the point that it is now drowning in red ink.
Soon to be gone as interest rates rise, and debt payments build, is the discretionary money that households use to bring a little joy into their lives with occasional nights out at restaurants and putting their kids in sports programs.
The time is now, therefore, to get our households in order.
If not sooner.

CTV did a video segment in an Ottawa sandwich shop- with the immigrant owner pointing first to the civil service Hogs lined up out the door at lunch time and then to his own immigrant staff of 6 new Cdns and he asked a very simple question: “how many of my staff must I lay off if civil service Hog pay is reduced and they stop coming to my shop”? And there is the fiscal devil in the details- our economy is already so dependent on borrowed money that cutting that mad LIE-beral borrowing will be like weaning a junkie off heroin! It MUST be done- but we KNOW it will hurt!)
