To the moon! Or are your drinking moonshine?
Ever since July 20, 1969, when Neil Armstrong stepped onto the moon, there has been a slew of conspiracy theories it didn’t really happen.
One member of the tin-hat brigade even claimed the faked moonwalk was filmed in the lunar-like landscape of Sudbury.
Now, one physicist is taking the nay-sayers to the woodshed.
First off, to pull the whole scam off more than 400,000 people would need to be in on the secret.
Dr. David Robert Grimes has now discovered the equation to determine whether a conspiracy theory (hello, Truthers) stands up.
Among them: number of conspirators, time and the chances of a leak. That means that even if security was super tight, the secret would leak in under four years.
