All the truckers used to take highway 93 (Great Basin HWY) to avoid scales and weight stations, it also take 1 1/2 hours longer.

Now that eLogs legislation passed Dec 18th, 2017, there is absolutely no reason to take that skinny road, well unless you’re looking to get laid.

So my buddy, a 70 year old trucker (retire already buddy) decided to run up 93 and stop at the VIP Spa..

He had a great tail of paying a $100 for a 1 hour message, and only getting 15 minutes, then paying $200 for a screw and how the Thailand lady had masculine features..

I, like a great friend, pointed out several Facebook and Google links showing a growing trade in boys having sex changes and posing as women selling thier asses...

He called me up yelling at me, “what do you know;” “Thailand women all have those features,” and now he won’t talk to me at all. :(

Most people who work as sex workers are either being trafficked or exploited. Very few enter the trade for the fun of it.

It's exploitation pure and simple. Aside from getting himself checked for STIs, your friend might also want to get help for his compulsive sexual behaviour.

Tinder seems to be the latest craze to hookup.. I just started to use Tinder and all I can say happy endings..

Yeah you see that documentary on the discovery channel where US cities like Houston are being known as the worlds capital is sex trafficking..

I actually support the Nordic model as it's implemented in France. For a first offence, you pay a heavy fine and have to attend compulsory sex-addiction education (AKA John school) and the fine doubles for each repetition of the offence. Take away the profit and traffickers will stop trafficking.

Denmark and Germany have noticed a growth in prostitution ever since legalizing it to the point that it's become a major part of Denmark's GDP. As for trafficking, that has actually grown since now they can present a legal front to their activities. They've been debating adopting the Nordic model in recent years and making the buying of sex illegal. Sweden has by no means eradicated the sex trade by criminalizing the buying of sex, but it has certainly put a big dent in it.

The main challenge Sweden faces is proving beyond reasonable doubt that an alleged buyer bought sex so the conviction rate is low. But just having the law on the books serves as a deterrent. Cut off the profits and traffickers will start to look elsewhere.

Depending on the driver.. if he decides to drive tired right up to the 11th hour.. yeah maybe.

But if the driver is responsible, and doesn’t push and plans his trip, then chances are no.

What’s funny is the same drivers saying eLogs will cause accidents are those who drove 17 hr days on paper and claimed it was for the next day..

eLogs makes a level playing field for all drivers, and is safer.

Example:: under paper logs drivers would drive the legal maximum 11 hours drivable in a day. Then they would start the next days log page and keep driving illegally for 5 or 6 hours.. this way they arrived at thier destination sooner, and the unloading time would be erased, and they can start driving when thier logs catch up.. unsafe, dangerous.. and risking others on the road for a few more dollars..
