Nah, they don't necessarily have things to hide. They're just more concerned with their political agenda than they are with the safety of children.

This is not surprising. President Drunkuncle said "I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters." That was probably the only completely true thing he said in the entire campaign.

His "people" have no standards, no principles, no human feeling. They are fascists in the purest sense of the term.

Missed that one while scanning through the stupids. I didn't know if there were individual state laws or a federal one. Until about 10 years ago Canada was 14. Now is I think 18 but has some goofy proximity in age rule. Not relevant to me and don't have time to hunt it down.

It's state. Federal law applies only on Federal property (such as military bases), where it's 16.

We've had some "proximity" laws proposed as well. Don't know if they ever passed.

If a 14 year old girl finds the courage to come forward, which in itself is very difficult for a victim... i’d Give that girl the benefit of the doubt.. and would question the integrity of the accused...

Then it’s up to the courts to prove beyond a reasonable doubt the actions..
