A Canadian MP has been forced to apologise after calling a female minister "climate Barbie" during a heated Twitter debate.

Gerry Ritz made the comment to Catherine McKenna while discussing a climate change report.

She bit back, saying the comment was "sexist " and asked whether he would call his female family members by such a derogatory term.

Unlike our own Climate Barbie, actual Barbie Dolls are not promoting the worsening of the financial position of the working poor, nor are they happily screwing the fiscal situation of the nation, nor are the carrying water for the Ken Doll of post-modernist incompetence...........in fact, real Barbie Dolls don't have the major qualification required for elevation to the current federal cabinet.....a vagina.
