My nephew, who is in his 20s, is a daily smoker of weed. So was i when i was in my early 20s, and with the much less potent version than is available today.

I quit at 25 when i realized how depressed, isolated, paranoid, lethargic it was making me. But what really scared me was what i took to be signs of psychosis, a desperation and retreat from reality. In any case it was wreaking havock with my life at a time when one should have been building a career, family, community. Beer and spirits never did that to me.

But what i noted in my nephew was i can always tell when he was stoned. He's really a nice kid for the most part.. polite, considerate, respectful... but this other side comes out when he's on the weed. He's rude, self centred, obnoxious. He becomes loud, inconsiderate of others and generally a pain to be around.

People are under a delusion if they think Cannabis is a benign panacea for all that ails them.. when its having a huge effect on their life and their future. It is a powerful narcotic, and will produce far more distress than remedy in one's life.

So, your highly sophisticated scientific study of the harm of marijuana is two anecdotes?

Wow, somebody should give you a Ph.D.

Okay, bones, give me your laboratory double blind research studies to refute that. If there was any out there you would have heard of it by now given the money in medical marijuana. When you're dealing with a contrivance that proffers NOTHING but anecdote and glib pseudo aphorisms.. you fight fire with fire.

Seriously? You're going with the burden of proof fallacy? That's your best shot?

So I ask again, what double-blind tests were done to make marijuana illegal in the first place?

Kinda funny how you never answered that question. Surely you can come up with another logical fallacy.

If it was a benign panacea, it would have no medical use. That's the whole point, it's not benign.

You're the one who claims it has no use.

Who?
I remember a guy named Allen Thicke having a travel show where he was given some drink in the South Pacific sode. That drink was all he could talk about for the rest of the show. If you are going to advertise that would be the one to promote. Any clown can stay high on pot daily. The trick is 'daily and nut fuk-up'.

It's neither benign nor a panacae. And the marijuana industry wants it both ways.. for recreational purposes its benign.. for therapeutic purposes its a panacea. The ambiguity and contradiction is of their own making. What can be said about it is that is a very internal, psychotropic drug.. with some disturbing and unexplored effects on the psyche.. of some.. or many. No one knows.

Do you have any double-blind testing proving that it is "very internal," whatever the f*ck that means, or psychotropic, or that it has disturbing and unexplored effects?

You're a true Sophist, bones. Someone skilled at the 'small' argument, distracting from the universal principle, using specious logic.

Just because it brought out your own psychiatric problems doesn't mean it will harm everyone.

Nobody is claiming it's benign. If it was benign, there would be no reason to take it.

And you are quite skilled at spewing logical fallacies.

I await your double-blind test results to prove marijuana is harmful.

Logic is logic. I understand your attempts to disparage it, because you are an outcome-determinative fascist, but there is no "specious logic." It's either logic (as when I use it), or it's a bunch of pathetic fallacies put forth by a terrified ignoramus (as when you use it).

This is my neighbor's ride. I don't talk about the place very much.

Fire water is not a drug, it is more like medicine. If drinking is part of his job then there is nothing wrong with it. More Snapps??

How come for this something you that doesn't effect you, you demand proof, double blind scientific study's from your approved source yet you believe, with no scientific double blind study a god who demands you obey or perish? And you speak of ambiguity and contradiction being a problem for pot but not your god who works in mysterious ways.
You are all kinds of retarded hypocrite with arrogance levels to rival caligula.
