So, the blame falls not on the party that nominated him, nor on the people who voted for him, but "directly" (your word) on the party that didn't nominate him and the people that voted for somebody else?
OK, works for me.
I knew it would.
I mean let's be serious for a second here. The Republican Party really didn't want this guy. They rallied against him. Before all the right wing pundits like Rush Limbaugh were saying "No way. Not Trump." Of course the problem was that he kept winning, even though he is a major buffoon who makes George W. Bush look like a genius. So, he gains major ground because voters are starting turn his way. Now it's a big love fest over there with the Republicans and their pundits. They think he's awesome. Or do they? Or are they gathering in to protect the world from a complete retard?
Under Obama, jobs were lost and the American voters are pretty damn sick of status quo politicians. What the democrats failed to measure was voter backlash. The Dem's figured they had a shoe-in running against the Orange Menace, so suddenly they figure "It's Hillary's turn." Never mind Benghazi, never mind all the bloody baggage this woman has and the scandals that have followed her since hubby Bill was the President. Never mind that she's about as likeable as slug. Because it's Hillary's turn and there's no way the public would be stupid enough to vote in this reality show clown and make his mail order bride (hot as she might be) the first lady.
So they gave Hillary her turn and she fell flat on her face.
And now you have Trump.
Sort of like having the clap.
It won't last forever, but there will be plenty of discomfort.
