Former teacher Trudeau sends heckling MP to Governor General’s office

OTTAWA – Drawing on past experience to maintain order in the House of Commons, Prime Minister Trudeau has sent a heckling MP to the Governor General’s office.

“Okay, that’s strike three,” said Trudeau to Mark Strahl, the MP for Chilliwack-Hope. “I don’t want to hear it, Mark. You can tell it to Mr. Johnston.”

Despite Strahl’s protests that he ‘didn’t even say anything’, and that ‘this is bullshit’, Trudeau remains firm, and says that next time, it’ll be a phone call to his parents.

“Oooooh, Mark got in trooooouble,” said Stephen Blaney (Bellechasse-Les Etchemins-Lévis), before being asked by the Prime Minister if he ‘would like to join Mr. Strahl’. “No sir, I’m sorry sir. I’ve learned my lesson.”

Although Strahl dragged his feet down the street to Rideau Hall, sources on his staff say the Governor General is ‘pretty lenient’.

“Mark’s a good kid, he just acts out because he comes from a bad family situation,” said David Johnston. “Sad to say, but his dad’s a former Conservative MP.”

This is the first time Strahl has been sent to the office since carving the Stussy ‘S’ into his desk.

This kind of story is an evolution of MAD magazine. Remember their parodies of television, politics and movies? The Internets is providing an updated outlet.

That is a good start at explaining why noting of importance ever gets done in Ottawa. Might I suggest a decrease in pay also be part of the punishment for being sent to the 'office'. No doubt that part would be labeled 'cruel and unusual punishment' and be trashed.

Yeah, seems Fake News is gaining popularity with Trump in the office..
The Onion Network would have a field day with this. lol SNL would have to be praising these moves by trump and there goes their 'comedy routine.

Wasn't Boomer referencing all the mainstream media in the us. A week ago they had nothing good to say about him, these days they can't say anything bad about him??

When the term 'former teacher' is used is that a snowboarding reference??

I must admit, I kind hoped it was real when I first started reading it. My son recently attended a session in the Saskatchewan parliament and came home expressing his displeasure at how the adults acted and reacted towards each other. Many of them should be sent to the GG's office or to anyone who could explain to these men and women that their actions are being seen by the rest of the country... by our young and old. No other business or school or functioning part of society allows people to talk to each other with such disrespect and disregard.

Anyways, for fake news, I got a good laugh out of it.
