Republican Sen. Marco Rubio is in need of a new Tampa office thanks to the work of left-wing protesters, who regularly staged loud demonstrations to the point that it was causing problems for other tenants in the building, according to The Tampa Bay Times.
The owner of the office building reportedly notified Rubio on Feb. 1 that they would not be renewing his lease, due to the protests, which were becoming a "a security concern."
According to the Times, other tenants in the building were beginning to fear for their safety due to the protests, which were organized by Indivisible and other left-wing activist groups.

The state of Hawaii has filed the first legal challenge to President Trump's revised travel ban, arguing that “this second executive order is infected with the same legal problems as the first order — undermining bedrock constitutional and statutory guarantees.”
One piece of evidence submitted to support Hawaii's case is a Feb. 21 interview White House senior policy adviser Stephen Miller granted to Fox News. Here's an excerpt from Hawaii's lawsuit, filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Honolulu:
Miller told Fox News that the new travel ban would have the same effect as the old one. He said: “Fundamentally, you're still going to have the same basic policy outcome for the country, but you're going to be responsive to a lot of very technical issues that were brought up by the court, and those will be addressed. But, in terms of protecting the country, those basic policies are still going to be in effect.”
We don't know how the federal court in Hawaii will weigh Miller's remarks. But we do know that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit (Hawaii is on the 9th Circuit, by the way) did factor public remarks by Trump and his surrogates into its decision last month to keep implementation of the original travel ban on hold.
Here's what the court wrote in its unanimous ruling against Trump:
The states argue that the executive order violates the Establishment and Equal Protection clauses because it was intended to disfavor Muslims. In support of this argument, the states have offered evidence of numerous statements by the president about his intent to implement a “Muslim ban,” as well as evidence they claim suggests that the Executive Order was intended to be that ban, including sections 5(b) and 5(e) of the order.
It is well established that evidence of purpose beyond the face of the challenged law may be considered in evaluating Establishment and Equal Protection clause claims.

WASHINGTON ― Former National Security Adviser Mike Flynn was paid more than $500,000 last fall as a foreign lobbyist to help the Turkish government discredit the exiled cleric Fethullah Gülen, according to lobbying disclosure forms that Flynn filed Tuesday with the Department of Justice.
The new documents reveal that Flynn was collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars a month to run an information campaign against Gülen while he was campaigning for Donald Trump by attacking his Democratic presidential rival Hillary Clinton as a corrupt stooge of foreign governments. Following Trump’s surprise victory in November, the president-elect rewarded Flynn’s loyalty by naming the retired lieutenant general as his national security adviser.
On Thursday, White House spokesman Sean Spicer said Trump was unaware of Flynn’s work on behalf of a foreign government when he decided to name Flynn his national security adviser. Spicer declined to say whether the president would have still hired Flynn if he had known.
Ultimately it would be Flynn’s ties to Russia, and not Turkey, that cost him his job in the White House after less than a month. Still unknown in February, when Flynn resigned from the White House, was the nature of his work to benefit the government of Turkey’s autocratic president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

THE BIG IDEA: While Donald Trump accuses his predecessor of wiretapping his office and prods Congress to eviscerate his signature domestic achievement, he also demands credit for Obama administration victories that he had nothing or little to do with.
-- The Bureau for Labor Statistics announced this morning that the U.S. added 235,000 jobs in February, bringing the unemployment rate down to 4.7 percent and likely giving the Federal Reserve the green light to raise interest rates next week.
February was the first full month of Trump’s term, but it was also the 77th consecutive month of job growth. Most economists say the 235,000 figure merely reflects the continuation of longer-term trends and caution against attributing too much to Trump at this stage of his presidency.
But that won’t stop Trump, who called the BLS numbers a hoax during the campaign, from celebrating them as a validation of his policies and agenda. He already did so last month, even though January’s jobs report was based on data largely collected before his inauguration.
