The ones that have stayed behind have a high custom element to them, usually including a fair bit of engineering expertise included in them. The cheap labour places are very poor at that sort of manufacturing. They do the "million identical widget"type of manufacturing, very well but they can't produce a million different variants on their widgets.

As I've said numerous times before, manufacturing output has doubled since NAFTA was signed. These are good paying, hi-tech jobs. Trumpites are focused on bringing back low tech, low wage jobs. They're morons and I'm not being a smart *** when I say that. They are genuinely stupid people

Funny how they make so much noise then put Canadian pins on
their back packs in Europe and Elsewhere. That aside it is not a
good situation for those in the hospitality industry trying to feed
their families or get through university. it is sad to see how little
some of their countrymen think of them.
I have seen this action personally, my sister and her husband have
a vacation spot in Florida, they are retired oil folks they won't be
spending one dime in America while the clown Trump is in office.

Everybody won't be making 70k/year. Trump just wants you to believe that. If somebody in a low tech mindless assembly line job is making 70k, somebody like me will make 250k and your shoes and your water will go up. Doctors won't go to school and work for 250k. They'll want 750k so your health insurance/premium will go up. It's all relative. Let the low tech jobs go to poor countries
