The Saudi cabinet has approved sweeping economic reforms aimed at moving the country away from its dependence on oil profits.
They said the same thing in 2005. The are shifting to natural gas and raised oil to over $100bbl to pay for development of it.

They also plan on massive solar energy.

I've brought this up on numerous occasions, why aren't you paying attention?

Google away amigos.

This topic kinda pisses me off. Saudi Arabia has money because they didn't ***** themselves out. With our resource base (which is substantial) Canada SHOULD not could be in the same position as Saudi Arabia.

More like the supply depot for US arms and they will be the parking lot and Yemen will be the 'results', especially hospitals as they have people in them. Know what I mean?
They can still be the dominant power (with some help) over North Africa and supply the south with NG

Saudi Arabia has just declared it is a terrorist act to publicly speak of atheism on Saudi soil, punishable by death. And your not conserned they plan to become a world leader of weapon manufacturing by 2030?

Your ignorance is bliss Floss, I wish I was as stupid as you are. I wouldn't worry about things like this

You keep saying manufacturer, I think they would be a showroom for NATO and Israeli arms.

As such they would need a large stockpile for said displays which means Iran would have to keep pace and there you have the cold war foe, along with Russia to keep the hype up and Africa as the protected zone, Israeli pilots in IAF strike aircraft and Saudi refuelers. They don't have the money to compete with NATO members and they are an arms dealing group, they sell to Saudi they do not get underbid by Saudi.

I think you over estimate how friendly Saudi's are with the west.

NATO also means the EU, if the US stops exporting weapons (which it would under Trump) Germany, the UK, France would be there to pick up the slack. Not fulfilling it's weapons sales to Lebanon is to keep them weak for Israel's sake so knowing which players are involved is part of the 'game'.
ie Turkey can be making deals with Egypt but the orders come from NATO as to what the Military of either place is doing. Saudi has been funding all Syrian rebels in Syria and Iraq since the Arab Spring started so that is the corner they are in and it won't be changing anytime soon.

That means Saudi's plans are to turn the world to Islamist rule. I doubt the west even understands.

Their ISIS fighters are sporting a replica of Muhammeds Flag, trying to entice a Islamic world conquest.

Yes

If I had to pick between the two, I'd chose oil super power over weapon manufacturing super power.
You?

These are people who don't even let women drive cars you are aware?

The exposure is low and there is very little threat of danger so your fear is misplaced.

 There are far more chances Saudi's and their nuclear weapons, backed by their crazy religion, destroys this planet, then pollution Floss

Maybe your the lucky one, to be blessed with such simplicity that you can't understand that

At least you can be ignorant in your simplicity about this very real danger.
