Reduced carbon emissions.
There is no reduction in carbon emissions in B.C. . The majority of our electricity is hydro electric .
No industry have changed there plants in any major fashion . We have more people hence more cars on the road then ever before .

Were is this so called reduction in emissions coming from .
O yea the port with all those major emitting freighters and cruise ships is as busy as ever .
And YVR growing by leaps and bounds any reduction there ?

Glad you support renewable investment!

Now if we could only get rid of those oil subsidies, the market would be able to take off without the competitive disadvantage.

I love my cash subsidies

Solyndra loved theirs too, that is, up until the FBI raided their offices

How So? On what scale? In comparison to which jurisdiction?

Unlike the subsidies creating a competitive disadvantage for other
energy sources like wind and solar, etc....? I'm so seriously doing
an internal debate regarding just deleting my own post here before
I post it, so as to not derail the Thread again into the circular
argument surrounding the current failure of so called Green
Energy, leading it away from the spirit of the O.P. from bashing
Saskatchewan specifically and Western Canada in general.

Renewables have failed, no doubt about it.

All you need to do is look at Europe, especially Spain, Germany and the UK.... All those nations are dumping their green programs as fast as they can

Why should 'people' allow 100 years of expensive R&D into petro based machines be tossed into the garbage because of a few 'headlines' that say the ice may start melting in 2100AD, . . . or later. We are a throwaway society and it is some future generation that will become masters of recycling using new and improved methods than we could ever dream up. Want an antique styled car, order a carbon fiber kit complete with an aluminum turbo charged flat-head 4 cylinder engine that gives you autobahn performance on regular gas.

All for $12,999, 20 year warranty is standard.
