Anyways, it is quite pathetic that women have to suffer because the men in a society cannot control their urges. And what is more, they usually have to suffer in silence. And I do mean "suffer" in a physical as well as psychological sense.
Vitamin D and Hijab: Exposing some light on the subject

I also wonder what the psychological impact on their mental health is when they are covered up like that.

Modesty philosophy aside, to not be seen has a huge impact on children. For a child to grow up with a mother who is not seen must also have an impact. To be the person who is never seen. Who is made to feel afraid that at any moment someone might sexually abuse them should they "appear" to be less then ridiculously modest. To be treated as less then but expected to be able to control men when they have no power.

Clearly this is what happens when an individual chooses to believe that they are not responsible for themselves and seek our a father figure in some fictious god. It's all kinds of fvcked up.

women being allowed to dress how they want, do what they want is much better then women being forced to cover themselves from head to toe so men can control themselves.

A parable: A word of truth but the purpose is falsehood.

Do I agree with such brutality and oppression?
Does God say to people oppress women, and oppress people in general?

God - be glorified - forbids the wrong-doing, but the enemies of God take some wrong-doing practices (which in fact are not common and are not commanded by God) so as to condemn the religion of God.

So I tell the woman to cover her body while the enemy of God tells her to expose herself before the foreigners.

No, not everything in our community, although I condemn every non-religious and every wrong-doing in the community; so not everything is like what you say.

The enemy of God ignore that the teenagers in the West are raped before their adulthood as they call it.
They ignore that the woman in the West when she reaches 18 years, she goes as she likes without chastity and without shame to lie and sleep with whom she likes; then she leaves her boyfriend or he leaves her without marriage; so is this your civilization; we condemn it and refuse it.

So your purpose is already known, and no more discussion with you may be of any benefit.

too bad your prophet mohammad wasn't of the belief that god didn't want women oppressed.

There is great benefit to further discussion with me, unfortunately you're people would kill you if you ever opened your eyes to the truth about your phophet and your imaginary father figure.

Confidence if quiet, insecurity is loud.

You'd think that if Muslims belief in allah and mohammad were solid and secure, they'd not worry about those who do not believe and they sure as hell would not have the need to kill those who do not believe as they do.

To kill someone because they do not believe means that those that believe fear they are wrong.

The Guardian Shines a Light on Muslims Who Become Atheists

The Guardian‘s Andrew Anthony offers some insight into Britain’s ex-Muslims, many of whom have left faith altogether. They can’t always admit that, though, because the repercussions may be fatal:

“Oh yeah, I’m scared,” agrees Nasreen (not her real name) a feisty 29-year-old asset manager from east London who has been a semi-closeted apostate for nine years. “I’m not so worried about the loonies because it’s almost normal now to get threats. What worries me is that they go back to my parents and damage them, because that’s not unheard of.”So he confessed his atheism to his horrified family. One of his brothers reminded him that the penalty sharia law stipulates for apostasy is capital punishment.

“I don’t think he would have any qualms about me being killed,” says Vali, although he emphasises that he doesn’t believe anyone from his family would seek to do him physical harm or encourage others to do so. Instead he was ousted from the family. He was disowned.
The piece also features Imtiaz Shams, whose videos about leaving Islam have been featured on this site.
Remember: In countries like Bangladesh, ex-Muslims who speak out against the faith have been killed. Yet, even in a practically secular nation, these ex-Muslims live in constant fear of being discovered.

Today, I was studying the soora 72 in the book of the Quran and its interpretation by the inspired interpreter of the Quran and the Bible: Mohammed-Ali Hassan Al-Hilly; and I noticed something to be corrected in this thread:

The genies mentioned in this soora, who converted and became Muslims; they had been Christians not Jews:
As indicated in the aya 72: 7 [Refer to the first post in this thread]
{72: 7. And indeed they [people] supposed, even as did you [genie-kind] suppose, that God would not send anyone [after Jesus, to guide people to the way of the truth.]'}

While the genies mentioned in another soora; i.e. Quran 46: 29-32 these had been Jews and they converted after listening to the Quran [Refer to the post #10 in this thread], became Muslims and embraced the religion of the pure monotheism and the exclusive devotion to God alone; as indicated in the aya 46: 30, which means:
{30. They said: “Our people, we have heard a Book [: the Quran] revealed after [the Book of] Moses, confirming [Mohammed] that has it by his hands [and to whom it has been revealed.]
It guides to [the religion of] the truth and to a straight path [leading those who follow it to Paradise.]”

From these two groups of ayat, we know that some genies are Jews (some of them served Prophet and King Solomon who had an authority over them); while other genies are Christians and still others are Muslims.

Moreover, they follow the sects of mankind in their same region of the earth.

However, those who converted out of the genies, after listening to the Quran some of them had been Jews (as mentioned in the soora 46).

While in the soora 72, they had been Christians who then converted and went to warn their people against the enthusiasm about Jesus and to invite them to worship God alone without associate or son.

I'm sure that those conversions happened at the end of a sharp scimitar, just as they do today.

How did these two groups of genie converted and were the pioneers to embrace the Islam: the religion of pure monotheism, and to invite their people to follow the Islam:

The first group who had been Jews:
Refer to the post #10: God directed them to the Prophet in order to listen to his recitation of the Quran, and as were they prepared already to the guidance, they converted and corrected their religion to the 'exclusive devotion to God alone', then they went to warn their people: the genies, against the idolatry and the enthusiasm about the prophets and religious men. Refer to the post #10

The second group who had been Christians:
This was another incident, where these genies, by God's guidance, they saw Gabriel coming to reveal the Quran to Prophet Mohammed; genies can see the angels, and some of the angels have wings; they knew that it was a new message from God, so they crowded around Gabriel and Prophet Mohammed; as it is indicated by the aya 72: 19 which means:
{And when [Gabriel:] the servant of God stood calling [Prophet Mohammed], the [genies] crowded together around [Gabriel to listen to the Quran.]} Refer to the post #17

Why did your great prophet Ibraham leave the city of Ur?

Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) left Ur in obedience to God's command.
So after Prophet Abraham having invited his people to worship God alone and to forsake the worship of anything else together with God, they refused and then he broke up their idols, so they tried to burn him in the fire, but God saved him from the fire and from their wickedness.
Therefore, here his message ended to his people, and he should leave, because the punishment would soon afflict his people.
So Abraham left his home country, together with his wife: his cousin Sara, and together with his nephew Lot (the son of his brother.)
As in the Quran 29: 26, which means:
{And Lot believed [and complied] to him u, and [Abraham] said [to his father and his people]: "I am going to leave home to [where] my Lord [has commanded me; for] He is the All-Mighty [in His kingdom and will take revenge on you], the Most Wise [by sending me to the land of Canaan.]" v}
.........................................................

u It means: Lot believed the words of Abraham and worked according to his program. As such did Abraham’s wife Sarah believe him.

v Abraham migrated together with his clan from Iraq to the land of Canaan, about 1805 B.C.

(The interpretation is by Mohammed-Ali Hassan Al-Hilly.)

Then the punishment settled on his people in the form of a plague which terminated them.

Therefore, Abraham went to where God commanded him to the land of Canaan (Jordan) then to Palestine, then to Egypt, then to Mecca, then to the land of Canaan where he sojourned.
So Abraham strove to spread and confirm the worship of God as One God without associate, and he had many sons whom he dispersed in that region so as to spread the monotheism in all this area: Ishmael (Ismael) in Mecca, Midian in the city of Midian in Sinai, Isaac and his son Jacob in the land of Canaan (Jordan) and Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah where the Dead Sea is now.

Hey selfsame! How you been? How's everything doing?

By God's favor, I follow the same guidance.

The best reply will be the words of John Baptist when he saw the Jewish pharisees come as for to be baptized:

"[7] But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them,
O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
[8] Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
[9] And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
10] And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire."
The Gospel according to Matthew 3: 7-10

=================================================================

The best reply to these Zionists is also in the words of Jesus Christ, as in the Gospel of Matthews 8: 11-12
"[11] And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
[12] But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

===============================================================

I add also that Muslims, the true Muslims: monotheists and devoted to God alone; they are more worthy of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob than you: Zionists.
Because the true Muslims devote themselves to God, while you are atheists and disbelievers.

Selfschlong why did Abraham tell the king that his wife was his sister?

Lewd, this is one of the lies of Ezra son of Siraeh who rewrote the Torah following their return from the captivity of Babylon.
Make a search as follows: <Quran-ayat Another Lie: About Abraham It is mentioned in the Book of Genesis, chapter 12, what follows:>
Or see the link: http://www.quran-ayat.com/conflicts/index.htm#another_lie
