You need to have money to pay for something to begin with.

You must be under that naive assumption that the hardest work is at the top.

You really must try reality some time.
The entitled generation has been gifted everything by their parents with zero effort on their part.

And yes the hardest workers are at the top. That is how they got there. Other than government PC criteria rarely gets you top jobs.

Education is Federal?

No, but you're the one that keeps lauding the Swedish education system and their vouchers stating that we should be doing the same thing. Just thought I'd put it out there how it appears to have failed and you have been very silent about that failure.

You never read the article, did you?

Lack of oversight was the culprit, and the decline began prior to the introduction of voucher schools due to other reforms.

Even your article shows that the publicly funded private schools outperformed the state-owned ones. So if anything, the voucher system likely slowed the decline caused by the weakening of oversight.

And another point. The in the article is not new. I've known for a long time that their system was in decline. Vouchers were only one of various reforms. I've also known for awhile that the privately owned schools outperformed the state-owned schools and so countered somewhat other factors causing the decline.

Again, lack of oversight is the problem, not vouchers.

The majority of Canadian's are going to be taught a hard lesson over the next five years. Canadian's have handed a majority government to a man who lacks the intellect or experience to lead this country out of the very tough times ahead. The majority of his government is chock full of unqualified members and the remaining people who have experience are throwbacks from the Ad-Scam days of Jean Chretien and Paul Martin.

I had some issues with the Harper Government, but I am aghast that we have handed the country over to the leftist equivalent of George W Bush. I wonder which one is Cheney?

Babbling Stephane Dion

Rockin Ralph Goodale

Here's the culprit.

Ah yes, Dion. Was he the one defending the right to be served a 7-Up on an international Air Canada flight in American Sign Language? Er... I mean French.

and no vouchers. You must be disappointed. Not as disappointed as the Swede's with the abject failure of their school system, but I'm sure, disappointed just the same.

'It's a political failure': how Sweden's celebrated schools system fell into crisis | World news | The Guardian

So institution of private schools turned out to be a complete failure? No big surprise there. For profit schools have pretty much failed everywhere they have been attempted unless you are one of the wealthy who can afford to send your children to an elite school.

Have you ever wondered why the people who have a hard on for the elite keep picking the pockets of the middle class?
