Time for M.P. salary cut?

In other words, it's an asinine suggestion to cut salaries to try and save money on a budget that size when the total salaries paid for the House of Commons is so small, comparatively speaking.


There's lots who would make that argument!

We pay them "okay". We get the " B" team in politics because anyone with brains or ambition seek their fortunes out in the private sector.

That would explain why Canadians with the highest IQs are in academia and scientific research. In actual fact if you look at the current group of MPs a majority have educational backgrounds that are higher than the national average. Mind you that might not have been the case in the previous Parliament.

All of the above when only 1 is needed to distract most people, . . . okay just you, why pussi-foot around.

All geared towards higher IQ scores rather than practical methods of helping the ones with lower scores.
