When the details are in black and white already then you should park you imagination until the reading lesson is over. Using you imagination rather than opening the book is a losing method.

We have the written agreement, penned by the Guarantor, sealed by the Mediator, interpreted by the Advocate, and lived out by the covenant people.

Psalms:46:10:
Be still,
and know that I am God:
I will be exalted among the heathen,
I will be exalted in the earth.
Psalms:46:11:
The LORD of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our refuge.
Selah.

The heathen in OT prophecy can sometimes be directed at a specific group. The men that are alive and in Satan's army on the day of the 'return' are the ones that are punished by God the most. There is no shortage of references to that specific day.
The book the verse below is from is about the gentiles that will survive the return and they will be visitors to Israel during the 1,000 year reign. (Zec:13 and 14) Their fate is covered in Isaiah:65 if that is important to the overall theme of the completion of the two bruises from Ge:3:15 and the events that immediately follow.

The best way to get started is preview what is said in the prophecies themselves. That might be more complex than what would be welcomed here.

Ob:1:16:
For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain,
so shall all the heathen drink continually,
yea,
they shall drink,
and they shall swallow down,
and they shall be as though they had not been.

Mic:5:15:
And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen,
such as they have not heard.

Hab:1:5:
Behold ye among the heathen,
and regard,
and wonder marvellously:
for I will work a work in your days,
which ye will not believe,
though it be told you.

Hab:3:12:
Thou didst march through the land in indignation,
thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.

Zep:2:11:
The LORD will be terrible unto them:
for he will famish all the gods of the earth;
and men shall worship him,
every one from his place,
even all the isles of the heathen.

Hag:2:22:
And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms,
and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen;
and I will overthrow the chariots,
and those that ride in them;
and the horses and their riders shall come down,
every one by the sword of his brother.

and many more

t is evident on the face of it that the conception of Hades as we find it elaborated in the speculations of the early Fathers and Scriptural exegetists, is far from that simple idea of it which came to be current in popular thought in Christendom. It is not by any means unequivocally the "bad place" to which the wicked and the ungodly are despatched at death for eternal torture. All, the righteous and the wicked alike, had to abide in Hades till the time of the apocalypse. (The enlightened reader will hardly need to be reminded that the Greek phrase teleuten aion, which has been stupidly mistranslated "end of the world" is properly to be rendered "end of the cycle", or "end of the age".) Even that Edenic heaven, Abraham’s bosom, where Lazarus had been taken to be rewarded for earthly poverty with celestial riches, had to be included in its province. The very Christ himself, either by providential design or for some reason of cosmic purport, was called upon to descend into this nether earth.

C H R I S T ’ S T H R E E D A Y S I N H E L L

Now it turns up that in the Gospel of Nicodemus in a section dealing with the Descensus to Hades, the allegory runs that Seth goes to Paradise to seek the oil of mercy from the tree of life. The story is said to have been taken from the Jewish Apocalypse of Moses.

Shadow of the Third Century

Echoes of the drastic thesis here propounded are to be heard in more than one modern work on religion, philosophy and psychology. Already has been noted Miss Langer's statement that the myth-making instinct belongs not to the lowest order of mentality but to a lofty philosophical capability and that philosophical thought is the last reach of genuine religion, its consummation and finally its dissolution. For as Scripture so well expresses the great truth here under discussion, in the finale of human perfection faith is lost in sight. And faith is religion and sight is philosophy. So religion must ultimately be swallowed up and disappear in the luminous apocalypses of philosophy.

When it comes to things we could not possibly comprehend, we're all bullshyters when we make even the slightest claim.

As recorded in the Revelation record, the measured and timely judgments of God are serial and simultaneous, released and restrained, purgative and restorative, accomplishing by the stick what cannot be accomplished by the carrot alone.

"After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.

Then one of the elders asked me, 'These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?' I answered, 'Sir, you know.' And he said, 'These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." (Revelation 7:9,13-14 NIV)

A great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language come out of the great tribulation washed and made white - an intended outcome of God's ultimate apocalypse.

Why do you think it not possible for man to comprehend pure love? It's not hard at all to make the slight claim of love for your own maker whatever you think that might be, isn't it? There have been very many learned men and women whove made claims to have experianced that pure love following the time honoured formulae prescribed by the ancients, were they all bullshyters? I've made the claim that the light of the sun is God, your objection to that claim don't bother me a bit.

Pure love would probably be an unconditional thing, which is impossible for humans .

How many women love thier ugly babies, like you, unconditionally?
I havn't got anywhere near the unconditional love bucket but I'm compelled by the prize to travel in that direction, head for the light more or less in a straight line. What the fucc else can a man do?

Heb:12:22-28:
But ye are come unto mount Sion,
and unto the city of the living God,
the heavenly Jerusalem,
and to an innumerable company of angels,
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn,
which are written in heaven,
and to God the Judge of all,
and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant,
and to the blood of sprinkling,
that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
See that ye refuse not him that speaketh.
For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth,
much more shall not we escape,

if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
Whose voice then shook the earth:
but now he hath promised,
saying,
Yet once more I shake not the earth only,
but also heaven.
And this word,
Yet once more,
signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken,
as of things that are made,
that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved,
let us have grace,
whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

Heb:12:6:
For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth,
and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
Heb:12:7:
If ye endure chastening,
God dealeth with you as with sons;
for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
Heb:12:8:
But if ye be without chastisement,
whereof all are partakers,
then are ye bastards,
and not sons.

Isa:65:17:
For,
behold,
I create new heavens and a new earth:
and the former shall not be remembered,
nor come into mind.
Isa:65:18:
But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create:
for,
behold,
I create Jerusalem a rejoicing,
and her people a joy.

Isa:65:19:
And I will rejoice in Jerusalem,
and joy in my people:
and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her,
nor the voice of crying.

Re:21:1-4:
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:
for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away;
and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the holy city,
new Jerusalem,
coming down from God out of heaven,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying,
Behold,
the tabernacle of God is with men,
and he will dwell with them,
and they shall be his people,
and God himself shall be with them,
and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death,
neither sorrow,
nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away.

Isa:65:24:
And it shall come to pass,
that before they call,
I will answer;
and while they are yet speaking,
I will hear.
Isa:65:25:
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together,
and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock:
and dust shall be the serpent's meat.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain,
saith the LORD.

Re:21:1-4: new Jerusalem,

You emboldened the previous Scripture portions, MHz. Did/does something in them resonate with you?

You know the prize. You go home without the cumbersome meat to the celestial origin to hang with the father having completed the trials and tribulations of the flesh pots in Egypt and Sodom.

"Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." (James 1:12 NIV)

The LORD multiply your peace and prosperity today and in the days ahead, DB.
