And the GOP comedy show continues. During the 2012 primaries I really thought the Republicans had hit rock bottom with joke candidates like Herman Cain, but in 2015 has really outdone itself. It used to be that the GOP could at least manage a few candidates of quality, but the latest crop of front-runners is little more than talk-show fodder.

This is an artifact of the length of U.S. campaigns. Because people with lives aren't paying much attention yet, the drooling imbeciles set the agenda for now. Over time the more obvious clowns will fall away, just as Cain and Bachmann did in 2012.

Not saying the ones left will be much better, mind. Just less obviously delusional.

I would argue that the Democrats have a lack of quality with Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton , but that is just me .

I would agree with you. That's why I've already said I'll vote for Rubio or O'Malley. If neither is nominated, I won't be voting FOR anybody, but AGAINST whoever I consider the more dangerous of the two. Might could cast a third-party ballot, like in did in 08.

I would disagree in that Hillary is far from being an idiot as you say. She is very intelligent. No comment on the other person. I would not vote for either.

And the rest of the verbal juggling clowns. I can't believe some of the crap I
hear coming from the GOP. Jeb is still a better choice than the rest of the pack
at least he has a clue as to how to navigate political waters. I don't thing the
Democrats should worry at present unless Christ comes back before the election
