Well Flossy is tickled pink to report it's the victims fault.

In other news any rape victims from here on out that wear miniskirts, were asking for it.

It's possible. But so is me winning the lottery.

As far as I know those fugees have been vetted. I have a problem wih it for a completely different set of reasons.

yes, but what is the thing in ISIS, Islam or the people that can make the people want to kill others in such brutal, cruel ways and be willing to kill yourself in the process.

It's something psychological. There is something different about those that do that, think that, become that then others who take up a religion and go peaceably about their day.

Please don't use the word mad. You'll taint it.

F!ckin insane...pyschologically neutered or something...but not mad.
I think it's the 40 virgins , but I may be wrong .

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize that threats made by isis had an expiry date. Maybe you could let us know when we can stop being concerned about these threats. 1 month? 3 months? 6 months?

Not saying you're wrong.. they have made many threats in the past..

Lol

Well yes we will live in times where people let their emotions over take reason.

We can only hope this doesn't lead to a disproportional result that escalates violence.
Wow dude, the irony is just spewing out of you today. I don't know what makes you so clueless but whatever it is, it sure is working for you.

Northern Ontario,
Atheists tend to blame all religions for all the evils of the world, But religion itself is not to blame, it's unscrupulous leaders who use it as a tool to incite the masses..
That being said, a lot of people tend to go to great lengths to find all kinds of reasons, even excuses.... to ignore the fact that lately, one religious belief has been used extensively to cause mayhem in the world!

Seriously? One is the love of one's country. Some might call it "nationalism".
Jingoism is the extremist form of patriotism. Basically it's patriotism in the form of aggressive foreign policy. It also refers to bias when judging one's own country as superior to others.

Let me demonstrate: "I love Canada", is patriotism.
"Canada is the best damn country in the entire f*cking world and every other country sucks monkey a$$ yeeeehaaaaaw", is jingoism. Often a sentiment spoken about America, by Americans who ironically have never set foot outside of the US.

Just saying "I love Canada" isn't necessary patriotic. It's a totally emotional investment to ones country and usually accompanying a feeling of superiority over other nations which in turn can lead to jingoistic feelings. We see what these tragedies can do to ones mind if we examine eaglesmack's posts.

72 Virgins... you're thinking about the Movie the The 40 Year Old Virgin.

Welcome to Islamic paradise, martyrs. Roasting on a spit, castrated, tormented by 72 virgin demon hags with picks. You didn't read some of the small print in the contract, i'm afraid. Pass on a hello to Jihadi John when you arrive.

When morons like you make excuses, you embolden the terrorist. They milk your stupidity for every drop and solidify their campaign to recruit and brainwash more killers of children and innocents. In Paris, kids attending a rock n roll concert were murdered, Paris is a country of art and culture and freedom. The monsters you so quickly label victims are attacking every facet of our culture.
When fascist meatheads like you indiscriminately blame immigrants or refugees, this is where the danger lies. Trying to understand the root causes of why these things happen, not "make excuses", nor support their actions, is a much better alternative.
You're also a ****ing idiot to deflect blame off foreign policy of our countries as just an "excuse" like it isn't a huge motivating factor for terrorism.
Quite simply, ISIS is a brutally violent totalitarian monstrosity that was born of the wars our country's perpetrate.

Interesting...

Can you explain why latin Americans aren't martyring themselves left right and centre?

Anyways, just thought some of you would like hear ISIS's side of things...

Full ISIS statement regarding Paris bombings;

In the name of the all merciful Allah – Allah the very Highest said “and they thought that their fortresses would defend them from Allah. But Allah came to them where they weren’t expecting it and struck terror into their hearts. He destroyed their dwellings by their own hands and the hands of believers.

Here is a lesson, those of you who are gifted with clear sightedness. Chapter 59, Verse 2 (of the Koran). The soldiers of the caliphate, may Allah give them strength and victory, targeted the capital of abominations and perversion, the one that carries the banner of the cross in Europe, Paris.

A group split from life over here advanced towards their enemy, looking for death in the path of Allah, securing their religion, their Prophet, and wanting to humiliate their enemies. They have been truthful with Allah and we consider them as such, Allah conquered by his own hand, and put fear into the hearts of the crusaders in their own land.

Eight brothers wearing explosive belts and assault weapons targeted areas carefully chosen in the heart of the French capital. The French stadium, during a match of two crusaders countries French and Germany where the imbecile of France Francois Hollande was present, the bataclan where hundreds of idolaters participating in a party of perversity were assembled, in addition to other targets in the 10, 11 and 18 arrondissement- all simultaneously. The ground of Paris trembled under their feet and its roads became too tight for them. The toll of this attack is a minimum of 200 crusaders killed and even more injured, the praise and honor belongs to Allah.

Allah helped his brothers and gave them what they hoped for (Martyrdom) – they set off their explosive belts in the middle of these infidels after having run out of ammunition. Allah will accept them amongst the martyrs and allows them to join him. France and those who follow their path have to know that they will remain the principle targets of IS and will continue to smell the odour of death for having led this crusade, for having insulted our prophet, for boasting about fighting Islam in France, for striking a blow against Muslims in the land of the Kalifate with their planes which has achieved nothing in the foul smelling streets of Paris. This attack is only the start of the storm, and a warning for those who want to learn from their mistakes.
......................................

But it's not about religion, Ladders.

Aside from the politics, initial reports indicate the concert hall had little to no security. In this day and age you can't be an easy target. It also seems to me this was a catastrophic failure of French intelligence. There was a helluva lot of coordination going on, and not just the run of the mill lone wolf attack.

Ouch.

That was the bulk of the deaths.
