Until he comes for you. You are calling people who want to protect their rights, their environment and their country reprobates because C-51 makes terrorists of them all. That's just a lot of hooey spouted off to vilify Harper. If someone started a rumor that he had murdered his parents his opposition would spread it around as fact! Any thing to make him sound bad with nothing concrete to back it up!
The slander and libel surrounding politics is what makes people so tired of it all. We should be making an effort to clean up politics, not perpetuating the filthy, slimy thing that it is now by making statements that can't be proven.
If we don't like Harper's policies fine, but there's no need to make it so personal. It's just an opinion being bandied about as fact.

There was nothing personal in Cliff's post at all. Everything based in fact. Just go look at the actual legislation that has been passed. Take the time to read the new acts as they stand. Do not be a brain-dead peon with your head up Harper's ***. Actually do the research and reading of the legislation. I hope Steve has a nice life with his family but I do not trust him to run a drinking party at a distillery let alone set the future of this country for me and my children.

Of course I wouldn't if it WAS to happen, BUT the crux of the issue is it HASN'T happened. When I was a kid that kind of thinking was called "borrowing trouble".

I saw it on the news tonight- just an old lady with something to say- nothing remarkable about it at all. She has a right like the rest of us to voice her opinion (however lucid it is) !

I watch or listen to the news 4 or 5 times a day and I recall none of those events being reported EVER. Do you think I need to be checked for Alzheimer's?

These were all articles that were posted on these forums and discussed. Most of the cons on here thought it was a good idea to trash our environmental safety regs and to burn our libraries or throw them in dumpsters. I don't know if you missed them or didn't bother reading them.

New report shows Harper government's economic record to be the worst in Canada's post-war history

For 13 of the 16 indicators, the Stephen Harper Conservative government ranks last or second last among all postwar Prime Ministers. And its average ranking across all 16 indicators is by far the worst.
Even internationally, Canada ranks much more poorly than previously claimed. Canada's economy falls in the lower half of all OECD countries under the Harper government, according to population-adjusted indicators of job-creation and GDP growth.
"Given the negative growth data recorded so far for 2015, Canada's standing among industrial countries will slip further this year.
"Prime Minister Harper's claim that Canada's economy is 'the envy of the entire world' is sharply at odds with the international data."

Actually the issue is before C-51 it couldn't ever happen and now it has passed it is within the realm of possibility.

It's a Canadian Union formed by the amalgamation of the Canadian Auto and Aerospace Workers (CAW) and the Canadian Energy and Paperworkers Union (CEP).......

I don't support either of these guys but it's really disappointing to see the NRA bullshyte sneaking into the Canadian political dialog. Come on, everybody. Try to keep you IQs at least up to 90.
