wouldn't that be popular, lol., nobody will care what they do,if they lose, they will have to care for
all the people jumping to their deaths off of the bandwagon.

We survived well before 1992. I can honestly say I prefer a division win and playoff loss to the years 1994-2014.

Jays are up 2-0 in the 6th. They have hit into 4 double plays so far. They should be up by a lot more. Now bases loaded, nobody out. See if they can finally break the game open.

Another double play. Home and first. Now 2 out,

3 run HR from Tulo. 5-0 now. Finally!

I think Tulo might move back up in the batting order after that at-bat. Guys playing a lot better today - much more patient with the pitches and it's paying off.

Nice to see Estrada having a good day on the mound.

I would actually bat him 7th. I think he is still hurting. At 7th there is no pressure and his hits will be gravy.

... there might be some revenge later on ...
They have suspended him for 2 games. Feeling is he is suspended for his own good to avoid revenge in New York. He has appealed.

At any case, I think its a dirty play no matter how its justified.

The on-field announcers at the Jay's game today were talking this up - watched several clips of the slide ...........it sure looked nasty to me being used to the more contained slides I see from Jay's players. That guy was all over the line.

Oh, that makes sense...............I had been thinking he was demoted cause Collabello did well in game 2.

Good on you, IRBS. Now that I am on, win or lose, I am fan.

Through six now............I'm breathing a bit better.

Before his HR, he was 0-11 at the plate. In game 2 they were walking Encarnacion to face Tulo.

Also a lot of the panic was reporters. Dickey will get start tomorrow. Although the Price from bullpen is real. They figure he can get a key lefty to cover the loss of Cecil.

5-1 after 8. Looks like Price will pitch the 9th. Questionable strategy given the situation to say the least.

5-1 going to the bottom of the 9th. Sanity returns, Osuna is on. Looks like Gibbons was playing mind games with Texas.

Jays won. Game 4 tomorrow.

If that is what Gibbons was doing then it was a great strategy. Estrada was lights out most of the game - good on him.

Love baseball. Happiest times in my life were as a boy playing little league and pony league baseball. Awhile back I visited the old school where the fields were. They were no longer there. felt kinda sad about that.

My son's first fields are dust as well. All in the name of progress and/or condos.

Dickey was pulled after 4 2/3 innings with a 7-1 lead. He is 1 out short of qualifying for a win. He was the oldest pitcher to make his post-season debut when he started the game today. I am clearly not following Gibbons thinking here as Dickey had the Rangers in control. If we lose, let us remember this decision.

Yeah, I was in little league too in a league where it was all about winning and as I was small and uncoordinated as a kid it didn't go too well for me- until about grade 10 I was always the runt of the class.
