It is that 'at every turn' that points to being somewhat unique rather than being part of the herd. The herd usually ends up following a lead cow, not saying that is my role, I seem to be riding drag and making sure there are no stragglers from the herd. Being the only one on the wrong end of stupid in that case is justified once you can see the whole picture and the flow that any picture is a part of. If you can see the stupid line you are in good shape, it is the ones who are on the wrong side and over an horizon or two that are the incurable ones. In this version of the story the ones in the dust don't spend time on the ones that are dead and the dying are put out of their misery.
Nutty is the reaction to my comments on an existing thread, in hindsight I should have just done away with the gentle approach for all the good it did. 'Eyes wide shut' would be a good name for the usual suspects.

Only as long as you manage to stay on the green side of the grass. My point was children of farmers are the work crew but proper instruction comes after the accident rather than before. Commercial settings would take care of that flaw in the farmer if the children received the instruction someplace else in a group setting so they all learned the same things. They could then work on any farm and it would be as safe as the last place. The one most resistant to that might be the farmer rather than the children.
I thought you were their leader. Clearly a name change is in order. See how that was recognized as an error and corrected as needed? That only happens on one side of the line.

Only one in every five migrants claiming asylum in Europe is from Syria.The EU logged 213,000 arrivals in April, May and June but only 44,000 of them were fleeing the Syrian civil war.
Campaigners and left-wing MPs have suggested the vast majority of migrants are from the war-torn state, accusing the Government of doing too little to help them.
'This exposes the lie peddled in some quarters that vast numbers of those reaching Europe are from Syria,' said David Davies, Tory MP for Monmouth. 'Most people who are escaping the war will go to camps in Lebanon or Jordan.
'Many of those who have opted to risk their lives to come to Europe have done so for economic reasons.'
