How about 20 decades ago and 200 to come. The Chinook belt might be the new trade winds so if we are cooling off that will still bring in Pacific air, Go south and it should get warmer ans drier to the south-west and wetter and colder to the Great Lakes Region. If it goes the other way the land will still get rain thanks to the Great Divide. Alberta could live with an ice free year round Hudson Bay.

I has a brother what was stuck in ice in the upper reaches of the Bay of Hudson way earlier this summer, yes I said summer, you can google Canadian Ice Breaker diverted Arctic exploration cancelled. Hudson Bay will be soild rather than open perhaps.

It isn't called stuck if you drive into ice on purpose. By law we needed 4ft of ice on the lakes before 'they' would allow us to take the Cats and heavy sleighs out on it. Not one mosquito the whole time I was there.
Better sell it to somebody before it freezes over totally. How many new Mexicans would that make if the east went south or west and froze so they went south instead?

Ice breakers are order to get into ice regularly though. That is my understanding. Four feet eh. Brother works tugs lays up when the ice comeith skis back to civilization for the six month christmas season.
