CONS still acting up in Guelph after Robocall Conviction

I'm not sure why Guelph seems to ground zero for CONS acting bad but it seems like not much has changed......










Guelph NDP Andrew Seagram is the target of a new Conservative attack ad.

The ad, which superimposes a photo of Seagram against an image of a beach with footprints in the sand, was posted on the Conservative party of Canada's official Facebook page on Monday.

It uses comments it attributes to Seagram's Facebook page from Sept. 5, 2007.

"On Christians: Either mentally ill or a huge friend of Jesus. Either way, stay away from me," it reads.

The ad has generated a high volume of comments on social media, with 1,790 shares on Facebook as of Thursday afternoon.
The Mercury has not independently verified whether these comments are actually from Seagram's Facebook page.

His personal page appears to have been taken down.

A community page relating to his NDP candidacy does not contain any such remarks.

In the left hand corner it states the ad is "authorized by the registered agent of the Conservative Party of Canada."

The Mercury reached out to Seagram regarding the ad but he was not immediately available to comment.

In response to questions regarding the ad, Federal Conservative party spokesperson Cory Hann wrote in an email "These are Mr. Seagram's own words and it's up to him to explain them to voters in Guelph."

Attempts were also made to contact local Conservative candidate Gloria Kovach, and the federal NDP.
Neither immediately provided comment.

The ad appears to be a play on the popular "Footprints in the Sand" Christian poem.

A handful of other local NDP candidates are also targeted on the Conservative's Facebook page for past comments made on social media, or in news reports.

I'm not sure why your jimmies are rustled by an ad. Not sure why this has anything to do with robocalls. In fact I'm not sure why you carry-on the way you do at any rate.

Anyway...so the dipper dude posted something that some christians might take offence to on his FB (and he's taken his entire page down apparently...what a shocker).

And now some con is reminding said dipper that he said it.

And no, it has nothing to do directly with robocalls but Sona was from Guelph and Guelph was ground zero in the court case which showed how low the CONS will go to win.

and since that page is long gone those statements can not be confirmed or denied so why are the CONS, once again, stooping so low as to purport there's any truth to their accusations?
