Ontario’s premier insists she’s tamed her desire to inflame conflicts. Her record suggests otherwise

"Wynne now uses political fighting a a tool to try and distract people from other Liberal criminally…"

TORONTO - Recently, Premier Kathleen Wynne told graduates of a conflict resolution course there was a turbulent time in her life when: “I found myself drawn to conflict and — more than I would care to admit — I was inflaming those conflicts.”

The context was a column by the Toronto Star’s Carol Goar, in which Wynne said learning to channel her enjoyment of inflaming conflicts positively, by taking some conflict resolution courses, changed her life.

If so, she needs a refresher course.

Because it’s clear from Wynne’s first year as premier that she likes to fight.

Hypocritical?

For someone who at times goes on ad nauseam about ad hominem attacks, he just seems to engage in them an awful lot.

Or maybe Orville Redenbacker's twin sister thing is supposed to be a compliment?

Yet somehow I think if someone were to make a cheap shot like that at, oh I don't know, say Sarah Palin, he'd have something to say about that.

Am I wrong? I don't think so.

And yeah, in my book, that's hypocritical.

The sister bit was an edit I didn't catch. The post was just about being a dyke when I replied.

Grits are probably to black for him.
Love grits especially with a pad of butter. I pick up a few packages of grits every time I'm in the US, along with lots of booze and, of course, fertilizer to kill the weeds.

Ad hominem of public figures is OK in my books. Stick to yer knittin.
