Says the guy living on a turd in the Atlantic punchbowl.

A "turd in the Atlantic punchbowl" (the most beautiful and greatest country on Earth) which has 83 times as many people per square mile on average that your pointless, frozen wasteland.

The reason for that is because nobody wants to live in Canada.

Anyway........what I found the most interesting is, outside of very specific areas like a Little Italy or a Chinatown and discounting immigrants from France, US, and UK , the largest proportion of immigrants were not the ones many people assume they are. For instance, in my own county I was surprised it was immigrants from Portugal that made the largest group. I would have thought it would have been Immigrants from Asia.

You know what would help with all that? Don't give him the attention he is seeking.

He doesn't bother me. His backwardness is quite interesting in a clinical sort of way. It's like watching Archie Bunker live and for reals. Where else can you read such ridiculousness coming a real life full blooded stereotypical redneck...from Britian? It's comic gold.

yes, thank the stars too. Wouldn't want 83 times as many people per square mile here. They'd suck up all the clean air, ruin all the beautiful rain forests and trees, and kill off all the natural wildlife. Then there'd really be nothing to see here except for too ugly human animals.

Please, keep all those people on your island. Please.

It's interesting that there's only 1 area in BC where China is the largest immigrant country of origin. By contrast, there are 6 areas where the largest immigrant population is from the USA, including the central coast at 43%. Also of interest is the Filipino populations in the north. I was in Whitehorse last summer, and noticed every worker in the fast food resturants were Temporary Foreign Workers from the Philippians.

It's not about whether he bothers or not, it's about the fact that he has more than enough threads to ramble on about the UK in. There is nothing wrong with the expectation that he can be booted out of a thread like this for doing more of it. But, it becomes a bit difficult to do that when just about every one abandons the thread topic and instead focuses on replying to him.

You're all feeding his ego.

I was of the understanding that he was comparing his land to our land. Since he'd mentioned Canada and immigrants along with his home land, I figured it was on topic.

Should be ignore him until someone decides his comments are on topic? I assumed some back and forth was acceptable as long as those involved didn't start to cry about it.

Likely because I already removed the post that had nothing whatsoever to do with the thread that started the whole thing in the first place.

But you're right, I really don't care about some back and forth.

Sigh. I guess I'm just tired of watching him constantly making it all about him.

Or maybe I'm just tired of working to try to get some balance back to this place, where every thread doesn't end up in some kind of pissing match, only to watch that exact thing happen over and over again. It feels like it's a constant battle and it's tiring.

no worries. I didn't see the post that was deleted. Had I my perception of the whole engagement may have been different. I might not have fed the troll...
