Celine Dion walks into a bar-the bartender says 'Why the long face'?
Also-if you haven't heard her called the Goat Faced Devil you must have been living under a rock somewhere-Woss or Black Creek maybe.
Not a good answer to a simple question which was..........why do YOU call her that? Whether i have heard it or not is immaterial. Oh btw, regardless of her looks she is filthy rich and has a very good singing voice. Go back to your drinking little man.

I don't begrudge her the money though. If I could do something hideous and people made me filthy rich for it, I wouldn't feel guilty.
I haven't heard that before. But, I live between Woss and Black Creek so that explains it.
Well I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion. Regardless of how ignorant it may seem . I am a fan of Celene Dion and enjoy her singing. One of if not the best female singers I've heard.
OK, that explains it. I find opera hideous.
But to each his own. I too like lots of different kinds of music.
Opera is not one though and I find Celine tends to have some of the same qualities in her singing that I find distasteful in opera.
My Aunt who was my best friend loved opera singers like the three tenors, her favorite being Placido Domingo. She also loved Elvis Presley , who recorded a song "it's now or never", which is a parody of Oh Solo Mio. I can appreciate talent in all types of music, although I have no use for the rap c**p. That's not music. I like Dion's and Bocelli's duet of the song"The Prayer". I listen to it often. I also love the Beatles song, 'The long and Winding Road". Another song I enjoy listening to is "Nothing Really Matters" by Metalica. As well as "On the Nickel" by Tom Waits. I think there is originality in all of those songs and performers, as well as diversity. And Diversity is what I like I guess,,in many things including music.
