It seems to me that she's simply saying to the best of her knowledge the Grand Mufti of Washington, DC isn't a Muslim. But her statement equivocates and doesn't foreclose the possibility that Sheikh Obama is a Muslim.
Yemen's problem is more of a civil war with fighting among its former government and Houthis tribalists. The problem is, once the Houthis took over the government which had success against al-Qaeda was no longer in any position to fight Sunni terror cells which are being financed by (you guessed it) the USA's absolute best "friend" Saudi Arabia.
As always, it is very fashionable and politically correct to blame Obama. But the reality is that America's real enemy is the problem.

Obama declared Yemen to be the example of his fight against people who commit acts of terror and are monotheists. I guess Obama was wrong. The fall of the Yemeni Govt. represents an expansion of the Iranian sphere of influence and a defeat for the USA under El Presidente Obamez.
