or epileptic.
maybe but I just can not imagine that kind of insensitivity from every single parent in that classroom

there is way more tolerance today than when I was growing up and my mum would have gagged me and dragged me there

we have kids in classrooms today that scream and yell and throw desks and break walls and are in wheel chairs and still diapered...today's kid gets sensitivity training almost daily

it just seems bizarre to me

it's a lovely feel good story once we get past the man's inhumanity to man part

Maybe they didn't rent a t-rex bounce thing with a slide, no catering and a home baked cake?
home baked cakes are the best

Exactly Gerryh!....My sons B-day is On Christmas as well...We try to celebrate it earlier...In Nov...but sometimes people don't show up...Most likely because they're thinking of Christmas and their own family and don't have money for a B-day present...MY point is...**** HAPPENS!...The parents who invited all the classmates to this kids B-day party maybe should've followed up to see if anyone was coming...MAYBE they should've talked to the parents, who then might have sent their kids to the PITTY party....

and your original short and cryptic reply said none of the above. Just an off the cuff comment about the police and Firefighters showing up next year and then an out in left field comment concerning Christmas babies.

MY POINT IS...This thread is a Heart Bleed Story which probably doesn't have ANYTHING to do with the Kid being Autistic....JUST BAD PLANNING!

Then you do a pretty shyty job of making your point. As for you celebrating your kids Birthday in November, does that include family or is that just for your kids friends. Just curious if you move the entire Birthday just because it falls on Christmas day.

MAN Gerryh; you are one Dull Bulb Buddy!...Take the thorn outta ur *** man, and smell the rose...Does it smell like ****?!(Do you get it?)

actually, the 15 watter would be you.

My son has one every Christmas. What's your point?

Well, he's lucky. I've NEVER had a b/d party 'cuz of Christmas. It's always been an afterthought (i.e. Merry Christmas and oh, yeah, happy b/d!!) sigh...

Now, I don't care cuz those nbrs are getting higher all the time lol

I'd just as soon not have one now.

Rule was, from day one. Morning was Christmas, afternoon was HIS birthday. People gave him Christmas presents, and they gave him Birthday presents. None of the other kids got "combo" presents, neither should he.

Afternoon he got hot dogs and birthday cake. Every year.

Having a Kid on Christmas makes B-day Extra Special. He get's spoiled!
My dads B-day is 27th of Dec. He always jokes about getting Baseball Glove on Christmas, and Baseball on B-day... Has 12 Brothers and Sisters...says he was thankful to get anything at all.
Is all how you look at it/ How you deal with it.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Moral/Point?(for Gerryh) - Be thankful for what ya get, what you have/Make the most of it/Deal With It. ;)
