Considering who you claim I am are you sure that is the right way to start this downfall of yours? (like you would even have a good foot to put forward)
The authority to 'speak for God' was earned by Christ at the cross, Jesus in a glorified body is the very image of Christ in the form of an angel, He can appear in any form they have been know to manifest in. Saul was the living example of how easy it is for Him to gather even the hardest sinner. The OT reference is His 'resume' that allows Him to judge the living as to which door they enter in that God meets both but one group is more preferred than the other.
