One of the first clues to the fanatic family is a statement I hear from time to time.
In this house we believe this, It suggests we are Christians and we have one
thought about almost anything. The fact is in many of these homes the family
does not have one belief. I had a friend that used to hide in the closet or cupboards
so she wouldn't have to go to church because she believed they were crazy.
She was eight years old.
My mother was a devout Catholic and all that wonderful doctrine that comes with it.
My father was a CCF of the left for the most part but not all. As parents they adopted
a view that each family member was an individual and could believe or not believe
whatever they thought. It made for some great discussions. I had to go to church though
until I was of age couldn't wait to opt out of that whole process.

The bible makes no excuses God sent his only begotten son Jesus with the sole purpose of sacrificing him as an offering. This human sacrifice is accepted by the 2 billion Christians who worship a wooden cross. Sending ones child directly and early to heaven because the child cannot accept Jesus is a decision for parents to make or they risk condemning the child to an eternity in hell. It is not only a responsible choice but fully justifiable when you consider the alternatives. It is the Christian thing to do.

Except that God didn't kill his son. He killed himself or rather allowed himself to be "killed"

This meme sums it up quite well:

Your posts supports my position. Some have to be sent early to heaven . Jesus was another good example. He promised good things would happen if he sat at the right hand of God his Father. Who could deny such a promising request!!!!

How can you sit by your own right hand when you are your father and not human at all? It all sounds like some round about way of saying masterbation is ok.

The trinity doctrine was created by the Church. Jesus was later exalted to God status when the church saw the advantage of having 3 Gods working together as one. A house is stronger united than when they are divided. It is quite unlikely Jesus masturbated because he had perfect 20/20 vision. He saw what was coming and even prayed he would be spared.
