canucks came out tonight and gave the game away before the middle of the first period. rangers certainly
didn't expect that kind of game. they immediately became very excited, very confident, and had a lot
of fun, they didn't have to worry about scoring, played sound defense, lunquist did make some very good
saves, and until the last period, new york just made sure they stayed out of trouble defensively, and
of course that also makes it twice as hard for canucks to score, as rangers just checked very close,
and didn't allow any canuck to carry the puck anywhere.
nothing that happened tonight was millers fault, sure he could have been a super hero and made a couple
of saves on those first 3 goals, never on the first one, and the other two were three on ones, and if
you noticed, the rest of the canucks were left way down the ice.
desjardin was livid, (well, as livid as he can look, lol). burrows had a great game, mathias had a good
game, so did hanson, defensemen weren't horrible, but the 'team' defense was poor, the forwards just
didn't transition properly at all, got left behind over and over.
if you remember the first gAme of canucks road trip, was in columbus, cAnucks beAt them 5-0, then by
the end of the road trip, they were all done.
they don't play now till wednesday
