Not sure I like the idea of suspensions based on unproven allegations. Sort of makes the MPs having to prove their innocence which no matter what the end result some people will always consider them guilty. Sort of like when social workers come and kidnap your kids because your mother in law made a false accusation because she doesn't like you.

First of all we are not part of the discussion therefore we do not know the subject
or the course of the discussion. Had Trudeau not acted he would be accused of
not doing something as he did act some are critical. If I god forbid were in charge
of a political party and there were these allegations I would talk separately with all
those in question. If not satisfied I would suspend my own until I was assured that
nothing happened.
What are the allegations? Who made them? who are the alleged offenders?
where and under what circumstances did they happen? We don't have a single
answer to any of those questions and further more we don't know what other questions
were asked.
I don't think this kind of crap should go on regardless of party offender or victim or
alleged victim It is time for each leader to manage their own zoo as it were and Justin
chose to do what he did he's the leader of the party

lmao!!!

"Thanks boss"

there's no uncertainty if you read the twitter feed. Justin Ling is referring to the 2 NDP women that have brought forward allegations - that they weren't informed... not the 2 who are the subject of the allegations. Nothing is out there yet to suggest the nature of the harrassment is sexual in nature. Since both Muclair and JT appear to be in discussion towards process/resolution... where's the beef?

suspension from caucus seems the appropriate action to take while an investigation is underway. That should be obvious even to the most partisan hacks out there, hey Bear?
