We've already been through all this on the previous page. You can post all you like about how much Canadians are "happier" than the British (can you measure happiness?). About how much more their GDP per capita (an unreliable system of wealth measurement) is than the British; and about how much higher Canada's UN Human Development Index (which has faced much criticism over the years for its unreliability) is higher than Britain's.

They only did all that only AFTER we declared war. And we won.

But the truth is that the Nazis ADMIRED the British, who are a Germanic race, and posed no threat to the British before the British declared war.

In Hitler's book 'Mein Kampf' he makes numerous references to the British and how he wanted the German people to be more British. The Nazis admired the British Empire and wanted to share world hegemony with the British.

He also thought the British would be allies of Nazi Germany. Once he came to power in 1933, he had meeting after meeting over the years with British diplomats trying to forge an Anglo-German treaty, mainly focused against Russia. The British, for their part, refused to commit to such a venture, but did sign some small treaties with him (such as an increase in German ship size), in return for which they wanted Germany to return to the League of Nations and to recognise Poland's right to exist.

Even after the invasion of Poland he did not believe the British cared enough about what happened in Europe and as such did not truly think they would declare war.
