In the op-ed — co-authored by Mary Robinson, former president of Ireland and former United Nations High Commissioner — Mr. Carter and Ms. Robinson blast Israel’s military actions in Gaza.

“There is no humane or legal justification for the way the Israeli Defense Forces are conducting this war. Israeli bombs, missiles and artillery have pulverized large parts of Gaza, including thousands of homes, schools and hospitals. More than 250,000 people have been displaced from their homes in Gaza. Hundreds of Palestinian noncombatants have been killed. Much of Gaza has lost access to water and electricity completely. This is a humanitarian catastrophe,” Mr. Carter and Ms. Robinson wrote in the op-ed.

Wtf, you blame Hamas for the IDF killing innocent civilians. You're a moron! They've killed over thousands and there is no excuse for it, the blame is solely planted on Israel for that. The Hamas rockets are an excuse USED by the IDF to win over support!!!

You say you don't have a "horse in the race", but then irrationally support the MOST MURDEROUS side?

On March 12, 2010, the Israel Defense Forces prosecution filed indictments against two staff sergeants of the Givati Brigade for allegedly forcing a 9-year-old Palestinian boy to open a number of bags they thought might contain explosives in January 2009. The boy told he was hit by the soldiers and forced to work for them at gunpoint.[34]


The UN has compiled evidence that Israeli soldiers used Palestinian children as human shields or informants fourteen times between early 2010 and early 2013. It says almost all soldiers involved in the incident have gone unpunished.[40]
