The new Democratic meme: if you want a strong military, prevention and punishment of terrorism, lower taxes and wiser spending, and don't like the NSA behaving like the Stasi, you're a psychopath.

The good news is that you've got a pretty good chance of getting disability benefits for being a psychopath.

Gov. Christie goes back on his word, bypasses legislative process to block Telsa sales in NJ

Tesla Motors has been working constructively with the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJMVC) and members of Governor Christie’s administration to defend against the New Jersey Coalition of Automotive Retailers’ (NJ CAR) attacks on Tesla’s business model and the rights of New Jersey consumers. Until yesterday, we were under the impression that all parties were working in good faith.

Unfortunately, Monday we received news that Governor Christie’s administration has gone back on its word to delay a proposed anti-Tesla regulation so that the matter could be handled through a fair process in the Legislature. The Administration has decided to go outside the legislative process by expediting a rule proposal that would completely change the law in New Jersey. This new rule, if adopted, would curtail Tesla’s sales operations and jeopardize our existing retail licenses in the state. Having previously issued two dealer licenses to Tesla, this regulation would be a complete reversal to the long standing position of NJMVC on Tesla’s stores. Indeed, the Administration and the NJMVC are thwarting the Legislature and going beyond their authority to implement the state’s laws at the behest of a special interest group looking to protect its monopoly at the expense of New Jersey consumers.

This is an affront to the very concept of a free market.

Very interesting how anti-government radical lives off government largesse - $1300 per month on disability but, somehow, has the time and enough health to travel the country damning the government that pays his relief checks:

Former militiaman unapologetic for calls to vandalize offices over health care

Republican candidate on food stamp recipients:

What a crowd!

according to that it's neck-and-neck = but usually in off year the opposition is way ahead

With the huge increase in ACA signings the numbers in November should be very interesting. ;)

Megyn Kelly Confronts **** Cheney,' You Got It Wrong on Iraq,' Talking Points Memo:

Talking Points Memo | Breaking News and Analysis | TPM

Catherine Thompson – June 19, 2014, 7:48 AM EDT

Fox News host Megyn Kelly confronted former Vice President **** Cheney on Wednesday night about his own foreign policy track record in Iraq, arguing history proves he "got it wrong."

Cheney had co-authored a blistering Wall Street Journal op-ed with his daughter Liz that blasted President Barack Obama for failing to negotiate an agreement to leave a residual force behind in Iraq and accused him of willfully undermining American leadership abroad.

"Rarely has a U.S. president been so wrong about so much at the expense of so many," they wrote.

"But time and time again, history has proven that you got it wrong as well in Iraq, sir," Kelly said. "You said there was no doubt Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. You said the Iraq insurgency was in the last throes, back in 2005. And you said that after our intervention extremists would have to 'rethink their strategy of jihad.'"

"Now with almost a trillion dollars spent there, with 4,500 American lives lost there, what do you say to those who say you were so wrong about so much at the expense of so many?" she asked.

America to Sarah Palin: Enough!

America to Sarah Palin: Enough! – CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs

A majority of voters say they've heard enough from Sarah Palin, according to a new national poll.

The NBC/Wall Street Journal/Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania survey indicates that 54% of voters say they've heard enough from Palin and would prefer that the former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate be less outspoken in political discourse. That includes nearly two-thirds of Democrats, a majority of independents, and nearly four in 10 Republicans.

The poll's release came just a couple of days after Palin made national headlines by calling for the impeachment of President Barack Obama.
