What you all seem to be missing in your rush to hysterical mockery is that unfortunately these people are right. Our govts represent the 1% and corporate sponsors not the citizens. Govts are restricting your freedoms and rights every day and it would seem from this thread you are mostly all too f*cking stupid to see it. Have a lovely day.

We might "seem" to be missing that, but we aren't. We're mocking the ineffectuality of teabaggers in organizing a peaceful protest, much less a revolution.

Your comment smacks of the "false dichotomy," i.e., "if you don't enthusiastically applaud every crack-brained protest against the government, you must therefore support everything the government does. There is no third choice."

It's a logical fallacy.

Hey if you love these guys so much, they left a seat for you.

Regardless if they are opposed to the same people you are, what exactly makes you think these guys would do any better and not make your life even worse?

We all seen what happens when these kinds of lunatics forcefully and un-democratically remove those in power that are keeping some sort of order.

Civil War usually ensues, or the vacuum of power is filled by extremists & before you know it, your regular day eating dinner peacefully with your family is changed to gunshots and bombs going off in your neighborhood and people being dragged away from their homes by lynch mobs or people supporting those now in power who have no idea how to maintain stability.

Most of these nut jobs only plan as far ahead as removing those they don't like but rarely ever look at the big picture and have some sort of logical plan to follow through with. If they do, chances are, those plans are never going to benefit anybody but themselves and your life is going to get a lot more difficult than the one you currently take for granted.

If people want change and want to replace those in power, then there are right ways to go about it. Getting involved with extremists and supporting an un-democratic & possibly violent action is not the right way.

But you're right, we're just too f*cking stupid to realize that lunatics like these people are more trustworthy even though we know little of their full agenda or their long term plans.

The true beauty of democracy is that we are all free to express our views openly without reservation. While these few people are boisterous and highly demonstrative (which is their right to be), the majority of Americans affirm the system as it is. No doubt there are deficiencies in our system such as police and prosecutor abuses, selective enforcement of the laws, and others that we have discussed here. But the better thing is to work with it in the hope of improving it rather than just criticizing.
