Alcohol poisoning is pretty rough. I knew a guy who got into the Screech and man, he wasn't right for days. His eyes were bloodshot, he was puking his guts out. Once when I was 15 I downed a beer glass of white lightening on a bet. I didn't get alcohol poisoning, but when I bragged about to my stepfather a week or so later he tore me a new one.

Kids do stupid sh!t.

With me it was with Gilbey's Lemon Gin drank like it was pop, that was by far the worst. 999 Wine was bad enough.

we were drunk most weekends.... likely drank more before I was legal than all the years since.

I doubt that. lol. You're not twenty. (snicker)
Don't worry, while I'm pointing a finger at you at least four are pointing back at me. (winky).

You folks did notice the fine print that said something like "this product not intended to be taken straight "?
When I was a juvenile delinquent, a quart of Fine Old was 2.25 at the bootlegger, .50c for a quart of beer and 5.00 for a pint of Gold Star. Gas was .25c a gallon and a large Export A was .35c. I had a '56 Pontiac for which I paid the princely sum of 25 $
I'm so glad I didn't waste my youth.

oh yeah I mixed it like I would mix a rum drink...thing is I never drank it again and I didn't like anything lemony for quite some time

it's still the joke drink amongst us...."remember the lemon gin night"

the other killer I only ever drank once was some bad wine called Baby Duck.

after that I became more selective

the bootlegger, omg...I forgot about the existence of the bootlegger...used him a few times...they would deliver it to the house in a brown paper bag...

I don't understand why this is hitting the news media.
I thought that politician kids were off limits UNLESS it was affecting the politicians performance of his job.

Christian had a son in trouble and there was no coverage, Rocks kids had a big party bash where the police got involved and there was no media coverage.

Why is there media coverage, specifically the CBC, in this case??

My wife drank Lonesome Charlie for a long time and there was no real excuse for it as she was long past drinking age! Maybe there was a budget restraint. -:)

You'd think the little bugger would have the brains to do his partying at a friend's place.

When you think about it, the PM's residence is probably about the best place in Canada for a teen to get sh*tfaced, in terms of security, safety, availability of medical help, &c.

I vaguely recall the name...must have been really bad wine.

if this were a movie, they wouldn't have called the ambulance in order to save face and the image of the PM...she would have died and the rest of the movie would have revolved around the detectives and the cover up being uncovered.

Will there be a kung-fu trained political assistant chick with amazing t*ts and a burned-out-but-still-idealistic suspended cop to uncover the nefarious deeds of the heartless politicians and reluctantly but hopefully fall in love?

absolutely...that;s the ONLY kind of cop show there is now a days...and the chick has to have a nice azz in her tight pants, and for her on the top bed scenes, be able to shoot and have a different outfit per scene, oh, and perfect makeup that never runs

I'll call Rachel McAdams's agent. How 'bout the cop? I'm thinking Callum Keith Rennie.

yeah, yeah, I'm liking it...she is lovely but has a uniqueness about her that makes her more than just a pretty face....he has that look; "I can look good while scruffy and dirty" but I can tux up well too...
