Some people are not the least bit interested in preventing crime. They only want to punish people. While that may give them a feeling of superiority, it does little to help the victims of crimes. Wanting to lock people away at a cost of 60k per year instead of using a program like this is clear evidence that those that identify themselves as "right of centre" have a tendency to be fiscally irresponsible.

No, unlike you, I don't think or care about the reds. I just think it's hilarious that somebody would call them cowardly and then proceed to hand out a bunch. It is interesting reading through this thread because people seem to want to deny the possibility of success when treating sexual offenders. They are only untreatable because WE don't know how to yet. 30 years ago we didn't know how to treat depression. We have moved forward with that now. Not there 100% but we have moved forward. We can move forward folks that's what the human race does. We learn and progress. Well, some do anyway. Others stay stuck.

As for suggesting castration, it does not prevent rape or sexual assault. It is a poor answer to a bad problem solving nothing.

Personally I can't stand the Liberal ideology of trying to rehabilitate child sex offenders and rapist, and violent criminals.. longer prison sentences and the death penalty for murderers..

Does anyone not believe in personal responsibility anymore?? You do the crime, you do the time.. a tent city, no TV or special treatment just like Sheriff Arpaio created.

I have no problem with "green reps" they're just an easy of agreeing or respecting a post, "red reps" are a different story, if a person's post is disagreeable to someone he's at least deserving of a reason. I think it's safe to conclude that "red reps" are handed out by two types of people.............very gutless, very stupid or both.
