Not my task, God will take care of that. If you can't provide a Scripture to support your view then you are delusional, plain and simple.[/QUOTE]
MHz: that was a better try. I mean your response could have been more caustic. You could have said, "it you can't provide a Scripture to support your view you are not only delusional but you can stick it in your ear." So good for you, you are making progress. :)

I've said it before, the Bible was written by man, with man's own slants and ignorance's. I site Leviticus as proof of that.
So Moses was an uninspired man along with all the other Scribes, yet you internal thinking that get through all the deception and come up with the truth. That is too scarey to be funny, insanity is a better term for it. The OT Jews tried to 'improve' the teaching and God sent Neb to remove them from the land, that didn't work out too well for them but it will work out well for you? I think not.

Citing the Bible does not give proof that one is a Christian or that they even believe in God. All it shows is that they can read and memorize.
You forgot that connecting the dots leads to understanding, that is why you never quote anything from it, you can't without looking like you know nothing.

Isa:28:9-10:
Whom shall he teach knowledge?
and whom shall he make to understand doctrine?
them that are weaned from the milk,
and drawn from the breasts.
For precept must be upon precept,
precept upon precept;
line upon line,
ine upon line;
here a little,
and there a little:

My interpretation of the Bible is FAR different than yours. The difference between me and you though, I don't take "other peoples" word for what it means. I pray and speak direct to get my interpretations. I pray for insite and revelation.
Other people like the OT Prophets and the NT Apostles and the Beloved Disciple of John the Baptist?

Try running that past Alberta Mental Health and see how quick you get an appointment. (same day is my guess)

I don't look to MEN that have been dead for thousands of years to help me with my relationship with God. I go directly to the one I want the relationship with.
That would be yourself as the Bible is the path to who should be your first love.

Re:2:4:
Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee,
because thou hast left thy first love.

Well, cj44, is MHz going to hell?
No, that is not what I mean at all. I do not know the judgement of God.
Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.

Luke:23
Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed. 33 When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left. 34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”[c] And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

35 The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, “He saved others; let him save himself if he is God’s Messiah, the Chosen One.”

36 The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegar 37 and said, “If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.”

38 There was a written notice above him, which read: this is the king of the jews.

39 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”

40 But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? 41 We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.[d]”

43 Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

I defer to the above Scripture in Luke. The criminal hanging beside Jesus on a cross said the following to him, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom". Jesus responded by saying, "Truly I tell you, Today you will be with me in paradise." Note that Jesus did NOT say, "Well, that's great. Jump off the cross and get yourself to theological schooling. After you complete your degree you will be with me in paradise....unless you have a C average or below."

THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL BE SAVED BY FAITH - that is my Christian position.

Just to clarify where that place is and what goes on there and who ends up there. The 'thee' being looked on is Satan in chains.

Zec:13:8:
And it shall come to pass,
that in all the land,
saith the LORD,
two parts therein shall be cut off and die;
but the third shall be left therein.

Isa:14:15-17:
Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell,
to the sides of the pit.
They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee,
and consider thee,
saying,
Is this the man that made the earth to tremble,
that did shake kingdoms;
That made the world as a wilderness,
and destroyed the cities thereof;
that opened not the house of his prisoners?

No, the Bible is not. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is the path.
M't:22:36-40:
Master,
which is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him,
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

2Tm:3:16:
All scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof,
for correction,
for instruction in righteousness:

Well, cj44, Gerry says there is no hell. What do you say?
Based on Scripture and especially the teaching of Jesus - I do believe there is a hell. Haven't been there so I cannot give you a description. I believe hell to be a final eternall seperation from God.
Most unpleasant.

So, you are saying then, that the Bible is the ultimate authority and path to salvation and God. Not Jesus Christ. Is that right?

I don't see that happening actually, I'd rather sit here and see you not being able to tell me who the woman is/

2Jo:1:1:
The elder unto the elect lady and her children,
whom I love in the truth;
and not I only,
but also all they that have known the truth;

2Jo:1:13:
The children of thy elect sister greet thee.
Amen.

and I don't believe that God, our heavenly Father. Our Father that loves us unconditionally, would cast any of his children out of his house. It just won't happen.

The need of the hour is to distinguish and differentiate between "religion" and Christianity. Christianity is NOT Religion What is religion? Was Jesus Christ religious? Is Christianity a religion?

Religion:
“You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder,and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment." (Matthew 5:21 NIV)

Christianity:
"But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell." (Matthew 5:22 NIV)

Religious righteousness means observing the letter of the law (not killing). Christianity gets at the spirit of the law (evicting anger).

I'm saying that God sent Christ to gather all of mankind so they are all alive in the new earth, that means all that were ever conceived. If you aren't part of the first group then you will be part of the 2nd group. The first group is alive for the 1,000 years and in the new earthy they live inside New Jerusalem and the 2nd group is everybody that is not part of the first group will makes their home outside the walls in the new earth which just happens to be the current universe.
Go ahead give your version as you never actually say what you believe, a sure sign of how solid your doctrine really is as far as I'm concerned.
