Here is where people got confused.....When the Chief said what he said it was like this “I think as a citizen of Toronto I’m disappointed,” not " I think as Toronto Chief of Police I'm disappointed".

I picked that out when the article was first posted and have waited to see if anyone else noticed the wording but alas, no-one did.

I'm pretty sure none of these loons would give a flying **** if the chief expressed his disappointment in some random thug's actions. When he has evidence that involves the mayor though - it's a deliberate attempt to interfere with the political process lol

As a non citizen of Toronto, I'm disappointed too. He could have owned up to being in the video months ago, at that point I would have had some respect for showing some balls and honesty.

I just noticed on TV some blonde bimbo trying to scold Toronto into hanging their Mayor, my question was, what has not been done due to Rob Ford being who he is? Seems all you have to do is get people riled up so they will not work, pretty easy.
Are the roads not being maintained or the garbage not being picked up?
Media and politics are easy bedfellows.

I think the Mayor of Toronto has a lot of personal issues. I just don't care one way or the other, he's not my Mayor. I do however feel sorry for him, especially his family because I have walked a mile or ten in those shoes. What I find extremely funny is that the same gang who are jumping all over Rob Ford about lying in regard to the video and alleged drug abuse are the same gang who blew off Bill Clinton lying about having a sexual affair with an intern.

He should step down if it can be shown he bowed to coercion surrounding his actions. That's the defining factor for me. Did he put himself in a position that led to him compromising his post as mayor?
