Look, I've been on this board for 9 years now. My posting style has not changed one iota in those 9 years. Why should I change it now? If someone doesn't like the way I rub them, then put me on ignore if they can't just "ignore" what I have to say or how I say it. It's not like I'm a new user or I have suddenly become an a$$hole.

That's right G. You have been an a$$hole as long as I have been here! ;-)

METCO Boston...

Metco fears for its future - The Boston Globe

"In order to qualify for the program, a student must be a resident of Boston or Springfield and be non-white."

Not a sorority or fraternity... but discriminating nevertheless.

Isn't the whole point of 'mixing races', to ensure that everyone has the same educational, social, and thus eventually fiscal advantages? It seems to me that 'integration' should be pretty simply based on financial health. If you aren't financially poorly off, then chances are, you're integrated just fine.

That is what it should be... financial health IMO... in this case METCO. However poor white families from the cities of Boston and Springfield need not apply. There are plenty of wealthy minority families in Massachusetts and they will still receive a hand up over poor white kids. They're the bottom of the barrel.
