From the OP's link: "The proposal would ban abortions after the 20th week of pregnancy, restrict where and when women can take abortion-inducing medications, require doctors to have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals, limit abortions to surgical centers, stipulate doctors must monitor even non-surgical abortions."
No abortions after 20 weeks, restricting women's choices as to where and when they can take abortion meds, and I can see some hospitals not granting admission privileges for abortion patients.
Firstly; there are occasions when abortions after 20 weeks is medically necessary for the safety of the women, their babies, or both.
Secondly; restricting women to go to medical centers to take abortion meds will cause some women unaffordable medical costs (the USA has the highest costs for access to medicine and medical treatments in the world). I can see the rate of back alley abortions rising.
Thirdly; I can see some hospitals not granting admission privileges for doctors that have abortion patients. Again, I can see more back alley abortions happening.
