OK, one of you neo Trudeaumaniacs is going to have to explain to me how an, at best, second string MP, with minimal experience wins 80% of the votes, and didn't do it on his last name?
First. I don't cast myself as a member of a group Neo Trudeaumaniacs.
Trudeau first had to make a place for himself by contesting a riding that had been Bloc for years. He won that riding quite handily
and won a re-election. He caught the imagination of the liberals and I'm certain he caught the attention of the conservatives. He is
41 years old and a wonderful speaker and I wonder why he might be called second string. He is obviously first string now.
