Okay folks time to get your best bets in on this year's winner. Who do you think will wear the green jacket at the end of the final round. Will Tiger continuing his supremacy on the links? Will Rory finally get his mojo back? What about Bubba?

This is my favorite event of the year in golf. Love the Augusta course.

If justin rose can putt well each day, (he usually has one bad day), he can do it, he is my guy.

I like Bubba, but i've had enough of his bawling like a baby.

Tiger might do it, he is definitely ready.

And Rory too, he seems to have shed his bad start this season.

Nope, Justin Rose all the way.

I'm going with Tiger. However, I will stick my neck out and predict that whoever completes all four rounds in the least amount of shots will likely win.

Oscar Wilde once called golf "the unspeakable in pursuit of the uneatable."

Or maybe he was talking about foxhunting.

Whatever. Shoe fits.

Tiger is the obvious favorite. I'm not his biggest fan so although it would be good for him and the game if he won I would rather see another.

There is the regular crew of those with a shot and of them Phil is to be watched. The course actually plays easier for a lefty. I could see Els making a run.

When it gets down to it if the course stays soft the guy who hits his mid-irons best and putts well will win.

I am waiting to see how the 14 year old kid will do. They say he doesn't get ruffled by anything, we will see if that holds true once he realizes what the Masters really is.

The Masters lost any interest for me when I found they were still in the nineteenth century
with their attitudes toward coloured people and women. Oh I know Tiger gets to play there,
but he is a person who doesn't care about anyone but Tiger.
I find it really boring as well

I would have to go along with Kreskin's masterful logic that whoever completes all four rounds with the
least number of strokes will likely win. I wouldn't bet against Tiger Woods.

I don't know. There's no proven correlation between number of strokes and winning.

I often wonder why people come into a topic in which they have no interest.

I watched the Par 3 yesterday as I get a kick out of seeing the wives and kids of the players have some fun too. I also like see the old dudes play. I know he is not popular but I do like Phil though what his chances are this time around I will leave up to more knowledgeable minds. Looks like the weather will hold out for the tourney. Tiger definitely is a contender this time around - will be interesting to see how his first round goes.

good day at the masters today. loved to see sergio do so well, he had a fine round, he is one of the
best iron players in the game, if only his putting can hold up, has been his downfall for a long time,
but he has had a good year in europe, maybe he is ready to win now.

my pick, justin rose is at 2-,not bad for first day, along with tiger who had a bit of a so so day.

I also like mat kuchar, I will be cheering for him too.

hope the weather holds up, if the wind blows everything will change, lots of 'not so good' rounds.

nothing boring about golf at all, it takes a thinking person to stay with it, to
have the patience to play, and for me it is a nice change from hockey, going
from such a high pace of play, lots of noise, lots of action, 'over' to a quiet
beautiful game, always played in beautiful areas, where one can relax and watch,
a gentlemen's (ladies) game, good sportsmanship, must have great dicipline and
patience, it is a humbling game, they even call penalties on themselves, and great tradition, 'like' hockey.

Lots of non-Caucasians have played the masters well before Tagger was playing.

I never could understand how men got paid outrageous amounts of money to whack their balls around a field: really bizarre concept to me. My balls hurt just thinking about it.

Really enjoyed watching 14-year-old Tianlang Guan yesterday. Lovely birdie on the 18th and he finished the day +1 at 73. After a short rain delay, the 2nd round is underway. Apparently, the golf course is equipped with sub-air systems beneath the greens that are able to suck out moisture letting officials make the greens as fast as they want - pretty cool, hadn't heard of this before.

Rory didn't have a great day, hopefully he can pick it up today. Tiger finished -2 and will be looking to improve today. Sergio had a great round - good on him.

Justin Rose was cruising along nicely, then took two bogies, shot a birdie, so he is doing fine, keeping
himself within reach of the lead.
Tiger gradually moving up the board, no surprise.
Rickey Fowler having a good tournament, even with two 'double bogies' yesterday.
Young chinese fellow, was given a slow play warning, but then took a slow play penalty on 17, so he
is now sitting on the cut line, and if the leaders don't move up any more, he will make the cut.
Freddy doing well again, slipped back this morning, but fought his way back, and is close to the
lead.
Furyk is up there as usual, we'll see if he can hang on to it over next two days, he really choked
in the last major, as he was in contention near the end, then blew it.
Lots of nice golfers hanging around, and will make the cut.
The tournament is interesting, with so many top golfers doing well.

Enjoy, I love it.

oops, furyk just went in the water.(actually it was the ball, not him), lol

Tianlang made the cut! Good for the kid. Read a few comments about him being penalized for slow play yesterday, apparently he was warned a couple of times before being given the penalty. Also read that Tiger was penalized for his ball drop after he went in the water.

Fred Couples was hanging in their after the end of the second round. Jason Day top of the board. Looking forward to more great shots and putts today. Great Masters so far.

Tiger got a 2-stroke penalty for the drop on 15 yesterday. So he's 5 back.

lots of nattering about tiger's situation, it seems that becuse the officials 'did not' tell him of his
situation 'before' he finished his round, and they knew 'exactly'what he had done before he finished,
and calls from people watching on TV caused them to take another look, 'is' why he isn't disqualified.
If they had told him before he finished his round, he could have assessed the two strokes before he
signed his card, thus, no disqualification, so the officials have to take some responsibility as well.

He was suppose to drop his ball as close to the divet he had made from first shot, he did not do that, he
moved a couple of yards back, which gave him the exact yardage he liked for that shot.

There was no intent by him, he didn't know he was breaking the rule at the time, and the new ruling that
has been put into the pga recently, was put in place for this situation, thus saving a golfer from being
disqualified, after not taking the time to think through the rules, at a time of high emotion, after his
ball hit the flag stick and shot back into the water.

well everything set for final round. cabrera and snedeker tied for the lead at 7 under

adam scott and day will go out todether second

leishman and kuchar next

tiger is 3 under very much in the hunt

exciting day today. i was glad to see brandel chamblee get his mouth shut by all of the tweets and
texts sent to him, as well, i'm sure, as the augusta brass who would have told him to stop whining
and trashing tiger by saying he should disqualify himself. What was done was legally within the
rules, nothing was done that was unfair.
