The problem now is that most people approve the President's plan they voted for him.
The Republicans are playing with fire here, they will be blamed for a tax hike on the
middle class they will be blamed for the recession, and perhaps worse and they give
the ball to the Democrats. I can't believe they are that stupid then I think of the actions
of the Tea Party people who really control the Republican agenda. Nuff said.

You are absolutely right that if the US goes over the fiscal cliff while BO plays golf in Hawaii during his $3.6 million taxpayer subsidized vacation and if the US then enters into a double dip recession that is even worse than the current laughable recovery, the weakest recovery by far of all nine since WWII as well as one on which six trillion dollars in deficits have been pissed away in Washington without a trace, then four years from now President Obama and the Democrats not congress will carry the can for this disaster. As a result, the voters will punish the 2016 Democratic candidate for president just like they villified Goerge W, Buch and punished John McCain for the 2008 recession even though McCain had the cleanest hands in the room and heavily Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac supported Barack Obama had some of the dirties hands in room. Voters en mass have the attention span of a humminbird`s wings and they will almost always blame the party in the White House for bad economic times and they will again in 2016 and they will actually be right to do so. Besides, Barry will be out of free phones and condoms and BC pills by then due to the dire fiscal straights of the countr.
