As Praxius mentioned, you obviously didn't bother to read or view any of the links. So naturally you figured I might be ignoring your 'Thread of the Year'. Contempt prior to investigation is a common affliction in certain individuals.
But I feel magnaimous this fine Victoria Day. So let me 'splain the gist of those links. You see, the BBC (and by maybe extension, some Brits), can still be rather judgmental and stereotypically ignorant when it comes to us, especially when we are governed by a conservative gang. And yes, they did put a photo of our 'delicacy', poutine on the page. And might even imply that our CBC friend Jian Ghomeshi is a "national hero". So it's pretty much standard issue BBC idiocy with a tinge of political bias.
