well, if they can get themselves out of this fix, and move on, then this experience can be a positive
one, but they have shook themselves up pretty good now, they are fragile, and they have to remember
how good they have been and get back to that, BUT in all of this I have to repeat again, how chicago
have re discovered themselves, and duncan keith is playing like the norris trophy winner that he is,
and inspired the rest of his team, so it's not all about the canucks self destructing, its also about
chicago.
who would have thought after game 3 that chicago could play like that,
and also, those first 3 goals of the game. I watched chicago get three redirects, one right
after the other and a breakaway, AND I saw canucks shoot many shots from the point that could have
been redirected into the net, throughout the game, and weren't, sometimes they go in and sometimes they don't, BUT yes
that is only part of it, as canucks forgot how good they are, and lost their rythym and trust in
one another, and began playing like individuals, so one thing leads to another, and if it was
canucks who had scored those 3 redirects things could have and would have been different.
I'm sure chicago said to each other after that first period. WOW, everything went 'in' the
goal that period,
and sometimes it is like that.
As much as its so easy to have emotional reactions, and get mad, a realistic look at exactly how
the results came about works for me, after all it's just a game of hockey, not life threatening.
I won't take a thing away from the Hawks and much as I would like to see Vancouver win, I am a big fan of Captain Serious and give him and the team full credit for playing so well. Coming as it did on the heels of the Habs loss last night, the Cannucks loss was even more upsetting to me, but it helps to keep perspective and realize that the win or loss of a sports team really doesn't change anything in my life. Would love to see both the Habs and Cannucks win and will cheer them to the end.
GO, CANNUCKS, GO.
