I note the kids are prepped for school and have a moment with their biological creators then shipped out to the warehouse to be programmed for when they too have to work their asses off to pay for the $3,000,000 home with the smart mirrors in the can and team of house cleaners and technicians to keep it clean and up to date while they toil away working all day and eating popcorn for dinner with a movie once the underage units are returned to their secure night time environment.

Actually even in the last ten years technological advancements have grown by leaps and bounds.

Was watching a video clip of a band and the lead singer told this to the audience. He had an afternoon to kill before the show but was unfamiliar with the city, so he took out his smartphone, googled local attractions, found a theatre playing a film he wanted to see that started within the hour, bought his tickets on line, got gps co-ordinates to the theatre and, because he hadn't finished the book that the film was based on, finished reading the last three chapters on his i-Pad so as not to spoil the ending.

Ten years ago I would have believed that this scenario would have been possible, but not for many, many years. Yet, here we are.
