Just proves, you gotta pick the ones who will be appreciative of your help and one day they are prepared to help you in return.
I don't think anybody in the middle east was helping us after 911 ??
In fact, weren't they the ones dancing on the streets on 911 ???
So far none are really appreciative so it is time to let the guns cool.
A lot were helping us after 9/11.
Palestinians were dancing in the street but everyone else was running for cover or checking to see if they could remotely be blamed for it.
Palestinians were never very good at picking horses so to speak.
Everybody talks about innocent civilians, I am pretty sure they all are on one side or the other in Libya, no neutrals. No matter who wins they will not appreciate or like us anymore or less. (they do not like us)
As for supplying air support to either side, why? They have modern ground to air missiles and on the chance they get lucky it will not be worth life lost.

I doubt this rebellion has the aircover that the Gaddafi government has. If they did, the leaders of the rebellion and the UN wouldn't be calling for a NO FLY ZONE.
But, why isn't Gaddafi using his aircraft if he holds a advantage. He probably could get away with one or two devastating attacks before Europe or anyone could react, why wait till were set up?
Air strikes are too flashy and make big news. A slow grinding push east will do it.
What is Europe going to do? The only thing they are doing is getting their people out. Nobody is setting up anything.
Let the Libyans sort it out. If the UN wants to go in, let other nations carry this one.
Defiantly let other nations handle this, I would even pull out the ships when all Americans are out.
